Mmmmm looking good BUT also looking like shes ready to move?

Any idea how long she’ll be there, I still have a chance to get there early next week.

cheers in advance for any info

Sadly there is but a section of fuselage and some components only remaining of this unusual aircraft. They can be found at “The Helicopter Museum” at Weston-super-Mare.
I think it has been discussed on here before – a search may well pull up some various snippets of information.

A few pics from The Helicopter Museum of the remaining parts.
    Cheers

    Valiant

    Thanks for posting those Merlin.

I don’t suppose anybody knows how long she’ll be accessible for photos, I heard she was going to be towed back onto the airfield when complete?

I may be able to get there in early February if she is still around.

Air Atlantique Classic flight deserve huge credit for keeping these rarer British aircraft in the air for us to enjoy. I hope to get to Coventry for the next open day. Attached are a couple of shots from Hullavington earlier in the year. Crap weather, lovely aircraft.

As an ex ATC cadet, I’ve spent many a cold November morning on parade.

That was a few years ago but I still haven’t missed standing by the War Memorial in Calne, Wiltshire. No BofB heroes listed here, but many souls lost in those dark days. I’ll be there in again in Novenber.

    Thanks for the update Kev35,

I broke a finger playing hockey a few weeks ago, so am unable to play at the moment. It means I have Saturdays free to do something else….It would be good if they could get the Valiant back in one piece before it heals 😀
