Great shots Spey,
I’ve had a bit of a whinge about some of the arrangements on my photo thread, but I really did enjoy the display 🙂
The highlight for me was the wonderful ETPS FGA9 display culminating with a blue note and that great curved approach and landing. 🙂

Thanks for starting this thread and contacting Cosford. I was lucky enough to catch the Liberator and Hastings outside earlier this year, and took the time to get some decent shots of the Belfast before she goes inside. I was also allowed to view the Victor by the museum staff at the end of the day.
I would dearly like to get some shots of the Valiant before she goes in, so as soon as she is back together I hope somebody will post the forum and let us all know.
I can’t be the only one willing to travel to get a better shot than when she was in the corner at Hendon! 🙂

Thanks everbody…
Albert, I usually watch from the garden as well, this year I took a day off and made the effort to cycle around to the 36 threshold. Glad I did. 🙂
Not sure about the latest additions to the 47Sqn aircraft, every time I see them they seem to have sprouted extra bumps. I’ll ask around, I play hockey with a few guys from the Sqn 🙂

Thanks for the kind words.
I’m pleased with the C17/Reds shot but it was pure luck. 🙂
I was expecting the C17 to turn the other way not back down towards where I standing so I was caught unawares. As I was trying to frame the ‘C17 in the haze’ type photo, the Reds came into view. 🙂
This is the other shot in the sequence.

Maybe a bit of overkill….but I love this aircraft 🙂
Photos taken at the museum during April, after she had a spring clean.

Nice shots.
I went to Culdrose Airday many years ago (1986 ish?) but my only real memory is a Triumph Dolomite being dropped 250ft from under a SeaKing! Do they still do that kind of thing?
What’s the story with the Fire Crew and the Seahawk?

I haven’t heard it arrive yet, think I might stand in the garden for a while though. 🙂
