You talk of ILLEGAL immigrants. I talk of something different. Of course illegal immigration happens – and will continue to do so even if we are out of the EU. Can you explain why there would be any more controls? Why there would be any more patrols on the beaches of Norfolk? Isnt going to happen. Illegal immigration is a comparatively small part of the whole, and as you say, how do they live?

Easyrider – we are never going to agree on this, so I am not ever going to try to persuade you to my point of view. My point, simply put is that I don’t believe any of the tropes put about by Stronger In, any more than I believe those put out by Vote Leave. It is all nonsense propaganda, and should be set aside to allow closer scrutiny of the facts as we see them. For me, the opinions of quite a number of economists trumps that of Mr Gove, who stated over the weekend that a vote to leave would not lead to a recession. But that is my opinion alone. Both sides are selling hope; both sides are selling fear – and its up to us to decide which offers the better choice.

Tell me Bruce, How would you feel 5 years after the Remain vote won the vote we find our 350 million gross contribution has risen to 750 million gross per week, Turkey has visa free travel within the EU along with the other countries waiting in the wings and uncontrolled immigration is still rising in the UK and causing forecasted problems, financially the four major net contributor’s*** are struggling because of supporting the failed southern countries economies and their rising unemployment rate, should another referendum be called then would you still vote remain?

Its bad on many different levels.

Firstly, its a big lie – these are people in Croatia, or Armenia. It has nothing to do with the UK – the vast majority will settle elsewhere. We take a tiny proportion.

In different circumstances, those people might include your family, or mine. I hope you would agree that if you were in need, that someone would help you? There are no different levels of humanity – we are all the same. By and large, immigrants that travel to the UK already have a job when they come, or are in work very soon after. They cannot access our health service, or our benefits immediately in any case. Lets be clear – nobody has suggested that immigrants will be sent home – a reverse is not on the table, although I have interacted with many people on the exit side who believe it will happen.

Its a good image to highlight the reality of uncontrolled immigration, these people could well be queuing at our borders as immigration ramps up over the next decade in the event of a remain win,

We have not the houses, health infrastructure, jobs, space, to accommodate limitless migration, hints of being able to control migration by the remain camp are fantasy as confirmed by Jeremy Corbyn, “Facts” that Turkey and the other waiting contries will not join the EU till Yr 3000 are laughable, An EU army quite likely.

George Osborne’s desperate scaremongering such as WW3, Family’s £4300 per year worse of Financial collapse, Punishment budgets with tax hikes and all the other absolute crap he comes out with only serves to drive those with a modicum of intelligence to vote leave, Those industrial leaders and politicians pushing remain are doing so for entirely self serving reasons and do not have the UK’s benefit at heart.

Back to the Image above, The remain camp will do anything to discredit the brexit cause including implying the use of this image is somehow racist and therefore to vote Brexit is somehow supporting racism, I shall be voting leave on Thursday and I am not a racist and I hope we have a significant majority despite the tactics mentioned above.

I hope we leave and as predicted we will quickly see the end of the corrupt EU as it breaks up there will be no going back says David Cameron (Because there will be nothing to go back to)

Bruce “Old Chap” 🙂 The difference here is I do care about immigration, because uncontrolled immigration will do far more long term damage to the UK than any small business having to work a bit to change its market place.

Immigration needs to be like Canada for example where we allow in immigrates that are needed on a points basis, I hear of business’s not even advertising posts here in the UK but going straight to Europe for HGV Drivers for example even though the government has schemes to train UK HGV Drivers much cheaper than commercially available courses (Just one example there are plenty of other’s)

I could go on countering you and the other remain points, but I’m getting somewhat bored with it all so I shan’t continue to post here, I’m here for the aviation really not political debate

You should not believe anything put out by the press on the subject of leave or remain, they all flavour their reporting on whether they support leave or remain, On the subject of Turkey joining the EU I would not trust the reports of 10/20/30 years away, I believe the EU masters will make it happen (By altering rules ect) to get them onboard within 5 years along with the other waiting nations, They need to grow the union and will not wait that long,If we are in at that time we will be overrun!
