I work for an aircraft instrument overhaul facility and we have overhaul manuals for nearly all the instruments you show there right up to photo 12.
If you’d like to PM me I could arrange for you to talk to our MD about what you’d like. I have no say in that sort of thing as I’m only a mere employee. Although I have worked on some of the ones you show and could at the very least get them apart for you if you’d like to see whats inside as it were.
Hope this will help.
For anyone interested I still have a few copies left of the DVD I made of the original video shown on channel 4, B25 Mitchells do fly in IMC… when this subject first appeared on here some years ago. Just PM me your address.
Don’t suppose its anything like a vintage bus door operating switch?
Where did it come from?
Don’t panic it might not be b*s related…… i’ll pass the photo round in the workshop tomorrow. We’ve got a couple of ex RAF techs from that era, they might know….Theres hope yet……
Blimey how much..? Just come across this post and am the proud owner of all of Roberts books as I knew the man well…greatly missed!
My B of B the movie book is also signed by Robert, his wife Joyce, Dilp Sakar and Paul Day who was gratious enough to sign it for me at Roberts memorial service at Duxford..I shall now put it safely back on the shelf…..
Parts of this was filmed last year at the Lincolnshire Lancaster Association members day at Coningsby i think
Yes indeed it was as I was in the crowd watching….(green with envy)….
Can certainly help with the circuit diagram. PM sent, let me know what you mean by mounting cage.
The opportunity be able to walk the flightline and get no closer than not walking the flightline…?:diablo: Ah well at least the RAFBF got some money out of it.
For me its got to be Robert Taylor and Michael Turner.
I just love Roberts Schweinfurt prints and like to think of Michael as personal friend anyway, plus I get to back seat in his Chippie too.
BTW, smalll plug for Michael, its his annual exhibition this weekend at Halton
House along with his son whos a medeval artist. Come and say hello. Admission free!
Mmm, come on guys it is all for charity…I’m taking my Jeep and with the wife and littlun coming too its cost me £18.
If I were to have got us 3 advance tickets it would have cost £25….Don’t really see your logic there….

I adopted the first words Richard Todd speaks as my signature on joining various aviation forums some years ago. Hopefully it’ll remind me of what a great actor ( and wartime veteran) he was.
He’ll be missed by many I’m sure.
I think you know where I stand on this one Peter! See you there.
Can we have some advertising info please?
Just wish dad was still around to see it too…….
Thanks for all the input guys but I’ve heard through the grapevine there are other ideas afoot and I’d hate to tread on anyones toes. I’ve put the idea on hold for the moment so might just do something locally if I can.
Watch this thread…….
That guy was being something of an obnoxious t**t on Saturday for sure – shouting down several people and getting in their faces just before the flying show started. Fortunately he quietened down after a few minutes
Good show anyway – shame about TFC (and the obnoxious Yank!)
Andy
Just read his homepage…..think I’m going to throw up……
Wonderif he’l be at RIAT this week?
