I just watched Miami Vice. Another Micheal Mann masterpiece. Great pictures, good storyline and decent acting from Colin Farrel and Jamie Foxx.

I wish I had a camera to show you the wintery wonderland outside. As I was saying on another thread, we got about 2.5 to 3 feet of snow overnight. It’s absolutely beautiful but a pain in the a$$. Everything has stopped! The roads are crap and it looks like things won’t be back to normal until probably tomorrow morning.

I saw the damage caused by the Tornado on the news in London yesterday. I do hope there was no loss of life. I think I quickly heard there was only one serious injury.
We here in the southern confines of Canada received an incredible 2.5 to 3 feet of snow in the last eighteen hours and we should be getting another eight to ten inches of snow this morning. No public transportations, no taxis, nothing is going on today. I’ve seen my fair share of snow storms but this one takes the icing on the cake.

Does US Airways plan on putting winglets on their B752?
The US Airways 757 with the rainbow in the background looks great!

That Zoom B763 looks great. However, I didn’t know US Airways flew all the way to Glasgow with a B752.

Out of curiosity, the British government has deployed how many RAF Harriers into Afghanistan?
My next question would be this. The British Army has some 67 Apaches at their disposal and yet how many of these have been deployed in support of British forces in Afghanistan? Probably not enough of them. What’s the point of buying such technology if you’re only going to deploy them to various airshows throughout the country and across Europe. Send them out to Afghanistan where they will be put to good use.
A friend of mine is currently deployed with British forces in Afghanistan, this is his third tour and as much as I haven’t talked to him often due to his high-operations tempo, he has mentioned that more close air support would be a good thing. He is furious that he hasn’t seen more of Britain’s Apaches and more Harriers operating in their favour.
The Blair government needs to pull their heads out of their a$$ and do something to help those they have sent to their potential deaths!

I was wondering how long the Iraqi Air Force used the Super Etendard and if these aircraft were leased or on loan to Baghdad from the French government. Thanks for the info. Cheers!

What kind of range penalties would incur on the F-16E/I, Rafale and the Eurofighter if they were geared up with CFTs and a payload of two ELGBs, more fuel in external tanks and the necessary self-defense equipment (air-to-air missiles, ECM pods and the likes)?
