Actually, the reason why I dislike the Yanks so much in this one is because of the comments made by several players prior to the cup starting. I wasn’t really going to cheer them on to begin with but now, I am just going to sit there and have a good laugh each time they get a goal scored on them.
As far as a decent analisys on the match itself, the supposed number 4 ranked team in the world was beaten down by the number 2 ranked team in the world. The American players weren’t necessarily out classed but you could see that they weren’t very comfortable on the pitch. the Czechs, as much as they didn’t control possession of the ball until the second half, were much faster and were able to build better opportunities than the americans each time they had the ball. It is unfortunate, but playing games against some of the smaller teams in the world doesn’t really give you the edge when you will play the best the rest of the world has to offer.
I don’t mind if you go into a tournament with confidence, however, just don’t go barking that you’re going to win the tournament because you supposedly have the best players in the world!

Actually I did read the post SOC posted to answer my original question. I was just trying to see if there had been any talk of side mounted weapons bay, as seen on the F-22 Raptor. Personally thought it is a valid question. To say there is no need for such an option doesn’t exactly cover all of the angle or some of the things which may have been thought of during the design stage.

So there would have been no room fo any type of side mounted weapons bays for Sidewinder missiles. Unfortunate! However, how many JDAMs would the F-23 have been able to carry during a multi-role mission, depending on the various missions the aircraft would have been designed to fly?
