Barry, if I am not mistaken, I remember someone in charge of production that Q Branch would have a very little if any role in this movie. I do believe Martin Campbell wanted to take the franchise back to its original roots.
If you remember, Q (aka Desmond Llewelyn) left in The World Is Not Enough, so it would have to be R that appears in the new film (currently played by John Cleese! 😀 )
Not only had Desmond Llewelyn left after The World is Not Enough, but ha also unfortunately passed away in a car accident shortly after the movie was released. May he rest in peace! 🙁

My reply was…..
“I never thought Daniel Craig could fill the role of Pierce Brosnan but he is looking the buisness there . Looking like a great film to me, can’t wait for it to come out now :D.”
I still have that opinion, how on earth you can be having doubts is beyond me! the only way we’ll all know is when it comes out ;).
I agree! I can’t wait to the film. It’s been too long and I do hope it won’t be the disaster Die Another Day was. By the way, I found this earlier, I thought I should share it with all of you.

According to an article on msmbc, the aircraft had attempted several emergency landings and was coming in for it’s fifth attempt when it dissapeared.

That is an incredible picture!
How has the Mirage 2000 performed for the Taiwanese AF since it entered service? Have they been pleased with the aircraft’s performance or have they encountered some problems?
Fantastic shots they are!
Could it be a quick fuel stop?
Yes it is a good picture. 🙂
I don’t remember where I got this particular pic specifically, but usually I get my Iraq photos from mail exchanges with people serving there.
Also from just surfing around. Photo-sharing sites are good sources.
Thanks for the info. If you could point me to some of the sites you mentioned, I would great ly appreciate it, thanks!
Possible, but why would anyone go through such motions.
There are enough genuine Iraqi Su-7s to be had for free…
This is a great picture. Where did youfind it if you don’t mind my asking?
A single-seater from Iraq.
I suspect this photo is at a museum or at some sort of gate guard.(There is another well-known Su-7 at the Cairo “victory” museum, too)
If I am not mistaken, the picture of this Su-7 was taken at Nellis AFB along with other Russian equipment.
Great shots Anna. Love the Chinook pic!
