Don’t get me wrong, I understand that the media will wrongfully describe certain captions to influence our opinion on the situation. However, for someone to blatantly attack the president like that is irresponsible considering the state of mind of those who have been waiting to be rescued. It will only feed a fire that needs to be put out asap so that the stability in the area can be returned.
I don’t think the authorities completely grasped the gravity of the situation. I blame the local authorities more than I would the federal government. They are the ones who can assess the damage first hand, not the president and his people from Texas or Washington depending on his whereabouts at the time of the hurricane. I do agree that the mobilazation is taking far too long to get help to those who need it but considering the extent of the damage and where the equipment may have had to come from, these delays may not be completely unreasonable.
However, where blame does come to rest on the Bush administration is how long it is taking for his people to accept help from foreign government such as France, England or the UAE to name a few. Allow them to come to your rescue and show your constituants that you have their best interests at heart. Mister Bush continues, in my opinion, to commit suicide with his home front policies.

The C-119 Flying Boxcar comes to mind along with the Kamov Ka-25 Hormone is a close second. These two are the ones I hate the most to look at but I am sure I could list a few others.

Something else that really gripes me is a bit of news which recently came out. As many of you have heard, superstars have banded together to raise funds to send to the victims of this tragedy. I was wondering how long it was going to take but it was finally thrown on the table.
Kanye West, a hip-hop singer, was quoted yesterday as saying that “George Bush does’t care about blacks!”. This statement was made during a concert in New York (Could be mistaken about location) being broadcasted on NBC. There is enough happening right now with people looting, raping and shooting at rescue teams and the devastation suffered by those whom have lost everything. Someone who could be considered as a role model such as Kanye West should have thought more about making this statement and the consequences his actions could have. I wondered how it would take for someone to throw the race card out in the open. No respect for this man!

I must say that I have a weakness for the A330-200. I flew on it once with AF and I was hooked!
As to a military type! WWII, the F4U-7 Corsair, it just looks…I don’t have a word for it. In today’s arena, I have to go with another classic, the F-14 Tomcat. The Cat always looks fast no matter what it is doing! Whether on a picture or on the ground, it looks like its moving!

There were reports people were shooting at the rescuers. A doctor at an area hospital said he witnessed incoming sniper fire against ambulances. I can’t believe this is happening!
These people should take a long hard look at what is going on and realize that nothing will improve until they do something to help the situation. If they have so much free time, help someone in need rather than waste your time causing a disturbance. What really gets me going is that people are complaining that the authorities are being too harsh! Help them out rather than working against them and you will see that your lives will slowly take some sense of normalcy!
I still hope this situation will be resolved quickly! No one deserves this! I have heard comments from some people which led me to loose my temper. I couldn’t believe someone could be so callous and disrespectful!
My heart goes out to those who have lost everything!

I remember this commercial when Ford was aggresively advertising the new Mustang. I thought it was a great spot to have Steve McQueen footage for the commercial.
Although I am not a Ford guy, I have to admit the new Mustang GT is a hell of a machine! It looks sharp and has the retro feel any Mustang afficianado would love!
