thankyou simon! i should know by now that not every shot is going to be a cracker…..low lighting and window reflection / dirt play havoc with the camera. however, you are right in saying that they show a journey accross great distance…..and they are something that i should be, and am, proud of. im glad you said that, thankyou.

unfortunately i did’nt consider photographing my meals. they werent much to look at, but were very hot and filled a hole…for dinner you got your main course, a roll, a pudding and a juice drink. same goes for breakfast, except pudding was replaced with fruit salad:D

just to update, the flight back to LHR was more or less a clone of the outward flight…..i was sitting in seat 52J this time, which is equally as good as 51B. 13 hours flight time as BA0028, made up time in the air due to a late departure and i actually slept through dinner. at one point, we encountered extreme turbulence, which was a little too much for a woman a few rows in front of me to take…..she broke down, and the incident report forms went flying.:D

Superb there Sam! Brings back memories of my two visits on HK. I’ve been to Happy Valley stadium too, to watch the Asian Cup qualifier vs Kazakstan, sadly 0-0 was the score!

0-0? wow, tough game! at this year’s Cup Final, Fiji were losing 0-27 to samoa and were seconds from equalising in the second half as the whistle blew…unfortunately they didnt make it! watching rugby is intense! i was supporting Fiji but Samoa dod a good job, so there arent any hard feelings:p

Cheers for the feedback adam, it means a lot! i reckon those snow shots look almost like they are amoebas…..the very “learned” flight attendant said they were infact glaciers:rolleyes: . the floor of CLK is indeed shiny. someone was always cleaning it!

cool to see the sea kings…..i saw them on the news, and you managed to photograph them! im looking forward to further installments. the cathay one is especially clear, and wins my vote:)

i arrived into LHR about 6:30 this morning, the sun was amazing…it seems like once in a blue moon you actually get a brilliantly clear day. unfortunately i filled the memory card up before i got off the plane:mad: 😮

    talk to you soon mate:)

….and name two others, Sam, that you know who are also really really really really p1ssed off for the fact they are also 150 miles away. I knew Airbus were out to annoy us. Its like the circuit training Virgin aircraft – they always seem to turn up when we are away! 😡

    an A380 doing a go-around at EMA! wow 😎 😡

hey adam, sorry i missed you out of my lil’ news bulletin there:(……but i thought it would be best for you guys to express your frustrations:D

have a GREAT easter, im sure we’ll catch up with the A380 sooner or later;)

maybe if someone wishes to recieve constructive criticism to make their photos better, they can either wait for it or actually encourage it by asking when they post. i think people naturally get better anyway, because the longer they take photos for the more their understanding of photography grows (esp. if they regularly photograph with a certain group of people; you know who you are!:D) and they start to see the bad points of their past work and take better photos because of it. this, coupled with the improvements in technology, can help to produce better photos. i think it would be very hard to produce photos for any period of time that are consistently very bad.
