I`ve seen a photo somewhere of a Triceratops(dinosaur) painted on (I think)..a Mk3 nose,looked very good,will see if I can locate it.
I have a bit of aircraft from Lundy but didn`t know what it was..my friend who used to be a chef in the island pub picked it up on his walks and told me it was off a german bomber..will post a pic when I locate it.How many aircraft came down on Lundy? it`s not that big is it?

Yes Springers,Bob Swallow,who lives near me witnessed the crash as a child.He said he heard a `crack` and turned to see the complete tail falling off the glider ” like it had been cut clean with a knife”.The Stirling tug circled for a bit then returned to Keevil,both pilots then jumped in a jeep and drove back to the crashsite ,but there was nothing they could do.Charlie Padfield lives quite close to me.
