Elektron sounds like the one I used to visit in Dorset..lots of stuff from the old Tarrant Rushden Airfield went there when it closed….lots of Stirling Goodies Lanc and Halifax too.alot of it was marked `Flight Refuelling`.

Popham was ok.Sunny,Hail,Rain Sunny,did`nt seem to be too much aerojumble or maybe it`s just there`s more old car stuff,Managed to pick up a couple of Stirling Fittings and a couple of crashed Stirling bits.Couldn`t afford £250 for the large Stirling painting in the marquee…but it was nice.Would have like to have browsed in depth but had the wife and kids moaning.Missed the nice Stirling Bomb distributor box but already got one ( a bit tatty though)Nice to meet you Merkle,and to see you again Allan(seems to get younger each I see him..any tips?)is it true a Tangmere Aerojumble might be on the cards?

My friend was coming back from France and queuing at Calais for the ferry.He observed several people climbing into the back of a lorry,the door being closed behind them.He pulled out of the line ,overtook the lorry and went straight up to the customs/security to report what he`d observed pointing out the lorry.The customs official said ” it`s not our problem” let the lorry through…………and stripped HIS car !!.

PRIOR TO BURNING ???????????? or £500 ???? that`s expensive kindling.
