The quality of these isn’t the best thanks to the poor weather. Despite this though I thought you guys might be interested to see a couple of shots of the nine ship F3 formation that overflew RAF Leeming yesterday to mark the impending disbandment of XI(F) Squadron as a F3 squadron.

I think the only word you could use here is immaculate. RAF, best in the world.

Nobody’s mentioned squeezing the histogram or fiddling the curves to get more or less contrast yet . . .
Not to mention setting the unsharp mask parameters and using levels . . .
But what do I know, I only had the short 14-week course . . .

Right, so back to my original question, what steps do you all take in Photoshop? 😮

Nice shots. You gotta laugh at the amount of kit and kaboodle that the US carry around for a few people huh ? A pair of 742s, several S61s etc etc…….there will no doubt be something like a C17 and a few F15s kicking about somewhere close too eh?

A C5 brought in the cars, 3 x C17’s brought in the heli’s and there was visits by C130’s to bring other various bits and pieces.
    But saying that Mr Putin’s lot were just as bad, IL76, 3 x IL-62, 1 x IL-96.
But of course it made for a great few days at PIK 😀

    What about vice versa? :diablo:

Nice shots, definitely some interesting traffic.

It was a case of overkill by the cops but of course they didn’t know who was going to turn up there.
And yes the traffic was very interesting including a lot of mil stuff which I haven’t posted here.

Here are some from GLA. Missed the Northwest DC10, and both of the 747’s.

    dme

DME if you have Photoshop up and running to get you started after you have an image on the screen in Photoshop click ‘Image’ then ‘Image Size’; then put ‘1024’ in the top box (the bottom one will look after itself) then ‘OK’ then ‘File’ then ‘Save As’ then a box should appear with the quality, 9 seems to keep it under the 200kb mark’
    That should get you started.
