No reason why they shouldnt, as of course its a level playing field.

Now now lads we don’t want this turning into a “GLA V EDI” thing so I’m sure Silver Snapper can and will clarify exactly what the charges are at each airport so that we can all be sure that it’s either a level playing field or it’s not? 🙂

    Should’ve flown from EDI. 😉

Sad to hear PIK is loosing a route. Such a shame

Couldn’t fly from EDI (or GLA), runway lengths too short for an A340 I’m told, and yes, it’s a shame if it does happen, as I’m told loads were good from PIK.

I was meaning the Emirates Boeing 777-300 of course which will be visiting daily from October 2005 hence the ” The Shape Of Things To Come….” title 🙂
I believe you’re a Boeing fan and I’m sure you’ll appreciate the sight of one of these on a daily basis at a Scottish airport?

In fact out of the 12 pics I’ve posted no less than 10 are Boeings 😉

I was expecting photos of a building site or something, with the title of the thread. LOL

Great phots, but nothing new IMO. I see things here as they’ve been for a while. Just my opinion

First of many visits by an EK 777-300, also some Flyglobespan 737’s in hybrid c/s and the wingleted -800 at it’s home base.

Here are a couple more from a very hazy Sunday…………
