    Great shots, did you fly AA from Glasgow Kaplan Dig ?

    I especially like those Air National Guard F-15’s in the St Louis shots.

    Yes, flights were chocca both ways, and the compression isn’t doing the pics any favours 🙁 Any chance of upping the file sizes to say 150kb? 😮 😀

    Wonderful, but I’m still feeling a bit hot! A few more photos might do the trick! 😀

    With regard to G-DOCM, I flew on that back in 2002 from London Heathrow to Barcelona. It has been at Glasgow for quite some time now without any engines. Does anyone know what is going on with it? Is it likely to return to the skies?

    Probably going off lease, BAW Engineering at GLA do all the work required to get the a/c back in much the same shape as they got it before an a/c goes off lease, probably this one has had it’s engines swopped so it’s waiting to get it’s original ones back 🙂

    Yes, great shots!
    Here are a couple of mine, taken on Air Canada Flight 842 into Glasgow International, the only thing that beats a west coast sunrise is a west coast sunset 😀

    Here’s a few more, PIK get’s quite a varied selection of a/c compared to most other Scottish airports 😉
    The Cargolux is spoiled a bit by the heat haze mind you 🙁

    Runway 05 was in use yesterday which always allows for a few “two shots” and decent landing pics. The weather was as bad as it’s been here all week but I managed to get a couple of pictures of interest.

    The North American arrivals were all very late which meant I got to catch them arrive for a change. More to come soon…

    Very very nice, especially the American 767.

    Where were these takes..specialy the AI one.

    Over the last 3 years, the AI one was about 2001.

    Is that a CC-150 Polaris landing in your 6th picture? If so, does Canada have a military base overseas?

    It is, and it’s doing a fuel stop at PIK usually en-route to/from Zagreb.

    A great selection of photos, i must say the sky in the Fokker shot looks “angry”

    Thank you, a heavy rainshower had just passed through and the lowish autumn sun just came out, I like conditions like that. I’ll shortly post some of those plus some dusk/sunset pics 😉
