hmmm, 737 with red nacelles. Either SAS or you’ve been flying hooters while in the states.

Red alright but neither SAS nor hooters :p

Be afraid, be very afraid!! 😮

Here are a few from my archive – they’re scanned photographs rather than digital originals, so the quality is variable.

I’ll post a few more if folk enjoy these. 🙂

    1) An unknown Atlas 747F at Ringway
    2) “Death Row” at Bournemouth
    3) BAe ATP EC-HFM of Air Europa at Southend
    4) Airbus A330 EI-SHN of Aer Lingus in Siberian Winter scheme at Birmingham
    5) B737 G-ZAPM of Titan (Matt – this one’s specially for you!)
    6) B737 EI-CNY of Ryanair. Anyone remember Sabre Airways, and who they became? 🙂

    Very nice indeed!

I was there on the Monday after, still a few Gulfstreams around and a couple of RAF Chinooks came in for refuelling. I wonder if they then got commandeered by Prince Andrew to take his golf clubs home ? 😀

That looks like them being loaded into the aft end 😀

Great stuff, nice to see the view from the Yonderton Farm side on the north looking across to my home town of Paisley from time to time. I used to live just beside that beige looking high rise block in the middle of the shot.

That Air Atlanta 747… got any more info on it? The reg and former owner etc.

Looks rarther good in that livery, when was it in ?

Not into reggies c/n’s etc 😉 and yes, nice livery, It was the Open Golf weekend, can’t remember if it was the Friday or the Sunday though, note the Gulfstreams lined up on 10/28 in the background 😀

    [sarcasm]No. Really?[/sarcasm]

Even before scrolling down, and just seeing the top of the photo, I thought that looks like the Fabric on the AF A330 seats… I scroll down, and, lo and behold, it’s an Air Frog screen… so… would I be right in plumping for the A330?

    Darn! Too easy! 😀

Charlotte, North Carolina also has a spotter location. There is a parking lot/viewing area right next to the approach end of runway 18R. Every nice weather day it’s common to see a group of folks sitting out their in their lawn chairs watching the arrivals.

Yes, I’ve heard of that one in fact departing there one time I noticed a group of people sitting watching the departures, abeam Runway 18R I think it was. 😉
