Excellent shots, i’ve seen water form before when i was in reverse thrust in a 767 (at EDI). Brilliant effect. GLA looks brilliant for spotting to, any tips for future reference?

The ‘mound’ is good when 05 is in use and there is a crash gate on the Renfrew-Paisley road which is good when 23 is in use, if you are ever heading up to GLA let me know and I can give you more precise directions.

😀 Well who’d have thought the sun would come out but it did and it made for some nice late evening shooting.

I was at GLA on a secret mission “Operation Tomahawk” more about that later, when I’ve time.

    Here’s a few shots in the meantime…

    Very nice indeed! 🙂

Any spare copies of this DVD Allen? 😮

Just has a thought, it wasn’t a programme called (I think) “The Sky Above And The Earth Below” which IIRC was of ATC at GLA yonks ago? All I can remember is the ICE 727 descending into GLA being monitored on the GLA Radar?

I tend not to leave my car unattended , as the Police get a bit nervous with this espically around that area , and it will get worse now with the ground radar being built there
    Regards Kevin

Leave a note on the dash – “Down at Crash Gate taking pics.” :diablo:

I was up at the farm originally thats where i took the pictures ,Parked in front of the closed gate and have never been bothered there,
Just after I arrived there there was a car that parked in the farms carpark so i guess they might have been a bit cheesed off at that
    Regards Kevin

I find it’s best to park the car near the Flying Club building and walk down to the Crash Gate at the farm, it only takes 3 or 4 minutes.
