Nice to see the Binter 734. I caught that at Manchester yesterday
I would expect either A320 or B757.
My takeoff video is now on YouTube:
Hi thanks for the comments, glad you liked the report.
I have uploaded the videos to YouTube, there is a not-so-good video of JMAA slowing on 03 at ACE, and then a video out of the window of the take-off. I hope you enjoy them! 🙂
Thomas Cook seemed to be good. They have this snack box system where they hand you the meal in what I would say is a paper basket and inside it is a cardboard box with the dessert, bread roll and eating utensils inside, then they give you the tray with the hot meal in, and when you are finished, you put the tray and the rubbish in the cardboard box they give you. Its not too bad actually.
Punctuality-wise I have found TCX to be slightly behind time before, but I wouldnt say it was anything to get too worked up about. I think maybe their choice of inflight movie could be a bit better, but if you bring an MP3 player or a newspaper for a short-haul flight, its not too much of a worry.
They were good flights really and I hope to fly with them again when I decide to book my next holiday.
We landed on-time around 18:50 at Arrecife. Not sure on the journey distance however.
I think FJEA is based at Copenhagen doing flights to Thailand and other destinations.
It looks smart (apart from the tail). With the Flybe logo on the tail it would look even more nicer.
Thats one very unusual sight, although still looks good enough.
GlobespanFly” anyone ?
LMAO 😀
It would have been nice to have additional “UK” markings. Although it still looks stunning.
Good luck to Zoom UK.
Thats one ugly looking 737. I dont like this hybrid, although for the short time it will be with LS it does the job well enough.
I like Zooms’ livery on the 757-200. It really does look good. However I reckon Zoom have a livery that will look good on a lot of aircraft.
Not a fan of it at all. However its all that you can expect on a short-term lease.
Not the biggest list…
Air 2000: 757
Flying Colours: A320
Airtours International: 757
JMC Airlines: 757-200
MyTravel: DC-10-10
Thomas Cook: 757-200
Ryanair: 737-800
The flight was operated by a First Choice 757-200 G-OOBJ. There was a Thomas Cook 757 on the ground at the time sat on the west ramp (G-FCLA I think). The flight left around 30mins late.
I had a feeling it would be the FCA 752 when I went up to level 13, as the only Thomas Cook aircraft at T1 was an A332 and 753. I had a feeling when I saw the FCA 752 on Pier C it would be that aircraft.
The yellow IMO isnt so bad, but the name is downright awful. I still think Britannia was the best name and livery for a UK charter airline. How many english people know the name TUI compared to Thomson and Britannia?
