Absolutely incredible! Know anyone with a like-sized ME 109 or Stuka? You could really blow some minds!

Must have been a labor of love to build that hummer! WOW!

As far as the mug, try a leather flying helmet and flying goggles? Oxygen mask optional!

    LOL JK JK

I had 9 rolls of 8mm home movies from the mid 50s and early 60s put on VHS then DVD at a local photography store. Some places can put it right to DVD… In putting it on VHS tape, they actually project the film via old projector into a light box and a video camera captures the movie image. I don’t know what equipment is needed to go right to DVD. If the film is OK, one option is send film to a friend where there are facilities to convert.

I bought a copy of the old Bogart movie China Clipper on VHS off of ebay (it is in public domain) and a friend who runs a production business put it on DVD for me. So this stuff can be done. Just hard to find the resources.

    Just my thoughts. Good luck!!!

Has anyone ever considered that these are real Spitifires, and the GUYS are huge!?!?!

Over in Texas they have an annual RC flying event where it is mostly B17s, B29s that are about 15 feet across… Never been to one but the pictures are incredible!

    Tnx for naval post

    M2,

Tnx for posting the note from the museum director.

Nice of him to provide comforting details of their plan and level of protections.

    Nice score!

Glad to know they were well prepared in so many ways!

After 9 11 in the US, if the plane had any Americans on board, they would probably jump up to help the crew, figuring the bad guys were going to do the plane in anyway!

Seems those that want to do bad and evil things always find a way to do their deeds…

When my dad flew in Central and South America for Pan Am in the late 40s and 50’s (DC 2’s, 3, 4’s etc) they carried .38s and blackjacks in their flight bag due to political unrest in the area and hijackings.

In reading some books on Pan Am, I learned that Pan Am had a code for pilots in the politically unstable regions. If a certain flag was flying at Pan Am’s Operations, a coup was underway, and the plane bypassed the airport…
