    J-10’s for Ecuador?

according to Agence France-Presse reported that officials of Ecuador, Ecuador, and China Tuesday signed a three valued at 400 million 42 million U.S. dollars of the cooperation agreement. Under the agreement, Ecuador will credit loan from China to buy four 438 million U.S. dollars worth of fighter jets equipped with its own Air Force, with an average selling price per aircraft more than 100 million U.S. dollars. The high price to buy such a high Jian Shi indeed is the first time.

It is reported that China and Eritrea recently signed cooperation agreements concerning economic and technical areas, including 14 million U.S. dollars in donations, as well as the two highest credit limit. One credit is to pay 2.9 million U.S. dollars within a decade, another one is 400 million 38 million U.S. dollars credit to buy four Chinese fighters to equip the air force in Ecuador.

The report also said that about 300 Chinese investors and businessmen will be held Wednesday and Thursday to the Colombian capital Bogota, and their counterparts from eight countries in Latin America met to discuss ways to enhance trade with each other. According to a Colombian officials, such exchange is the third, and its commitment to “increase Chinese investment in Latin America to find potential Chinese investors interested in Latin American products to import, and to determine what kind of China in Latin America want to import products. “

Latin American countries to limit exports to China in 2008 reached 68.6 billion U.S. dollars, compared with 2007, an increase of 42%. Chinese products imported from Latin America, mainly include iron, soybeans, oil and other minerals.

    China F-10 air superiority fighter
Indonesia’s recently ended his contract for procurement of submarines and fighter jets. In the fighter selection. Indonesia’s range of options including Chinese, including Chinese-made F-10 fighter jets. However, the latest news shows: Indonesia is the SU27 elected as Indonesia’s new fighter. Indonesia’s why there is no choice made in China, 10 fighter jets that? The news caused some Chinese in the network, “a senior Chinese criticism of experts” interest. Some people think: they prove that F-10 is strong evidence of garbage. Some people say: “good, J-10, under which garbage that finished.”

Indonesia has recently watched a number of official reports and research institutions. The same time, Russian media have also elaborated on some explanations. After looking at seem to have some understand. F-10 does not seem to appear to enter Indonesia Indonesia itself may not be the reason. But in his country of manufacture in China.

The contract, Indonesia’s purchasing Russian fighter jets were mainly the form of loans. According to Russian media reports, Russia Indonesia about 120 million U.S. dollars loan. Used to purchase in August saw in submarines and aircraft.

And Indonesia as well as weight to the “good quality, good price,” Jian-10 fighter. (Indonesia’s official view). Indonesia has been in the front of its F-10 performance indicators were studied. They place more emphasis on the excellent F-10 fighter aircraft at low altitude on the sea strike capability. And they also hope that China can randomly related to the sale of air and sea-launched anti-ship cruise missiles.

However, this scheme may suffer because the current international “MS” the agreement has been China’s refusal to sanction. However, Indonesia hopes that China can take to part of the loan or the like in Thailand during the procurement of equipment, semi-barter form.

However, to date China has given Indonesia’s response at this point. It would appear that China does not worry about F-10 fighter jets from overseas buyers. To this end China’s domestic manufacturers have created several of the planes, “foreign-type” FJ-10 or F10 fighter samples. For the user to choose. At the same time South American countries, including Venezuela, China, shortly before the delegation, are referred to F10 sales.

Chinese J-10 and Su27 a result, Pakistani military experts air pleasantly surprised
However, F10 can be said that China’s current foreign sales, the price of the most expensive fighter jets. It FBC1 difference is that the former is a light multi-purpose air fighter. While the latter is a fighter / bombers. At present the international market demand for the former is great. The products are mainly Europe and the United States is expensive. While the United States to South America, Indonesia is implementing the sanctions.

It also created the conditions for the Chinese fighter. If the final negotiations in China can reach a final agreement with the Indonesian government to say. Then the F10 may be the most friendly and the price of bulk sales to Indonesia. As far as the Indonesian Air Force needs at least 15-20 fighters. If the purchase of F10 fighter planes, then at least you can use SU27 Indonesia, the same price to buy an air force squadron set the quantity required. It has been learned. China now offer the latest in 2006 the reference offer price of each aircraft F10 single 20 million U.S. dollars. I understand that the offer price does not contain the distance from the missile.

just found something, apparently china is nearing completion of the Naval variant of the J-10.

    http://www.lzmmil.cn/html/jqdb/20091223/3834.html

    google translator:

States Central Intelligence Agency disclosed that Jian Shi carrier type was in 2009 (December 18) in Dalian, China Varyag aircraft carrier flight test successfully. This means that Chinese carriers will become a reality. China approved in January 1986 J-10 project development. March 23, 1998, F-10 flight.

December 29, 2006, China’s Jian-10 was first announced. As early as 2001, the Chinese government began to develop F-10 carrier-based, after eight years of research, F-10 carrier-based launch of the last. From R & D speed of speaking, China’s slower, developed J-10 use for 12 years, developed carrier-based F-10 actually took eight years. This shows that China’s carrier-based aircraft technology is almost from scratch.

    Carrier-based F–10

The CIA on the F-10 carrier-based performance parameters estimated to be: the captain 14.57 meters, wingspan of 8.78 meters, height: 5.3 meters, sweep angle 50-52 degrees, the wing area of 38 square meters, vertical tail area of 8.4 square meters, thrust of 152 kN.

Takeoff and landing roll distance: less than 150 meters

High altitude of the maximum speed: 2.0 Mach

    Low maximum speed: 1.2 Mach (1473 km / h)

Maximum ceiling: 18,000 metersbbs.chnqiang.com military forum

    Combat radius: 1,300 km

    Maximum range: 3,000 km

Maximum Takeoff Weight: 18.27 thousand kilograms, 6000 kilograms load of bombs, thrust-weight ratio greater than 1.1.

Plug-in 11 (5 under the fuselage, each wing the next three), the largest external fuel tanks 4100 liters (1500 × 2,1100 × 1)

These data indicate that F-10 carrier-based F-10 package type is almost identical, but thrust from 122 kN to 152 kN, roll distances have been shortened to 50 meters only. Like with the F-10, F-10 carrier-based addition to maintaining the normal level flight, there are enough thrust to meet the needs of the implementation of a variety of motor actions, so that the level of acceleration, climbing, circling, etc. have a larger performance increase, even in the air combat mode effortlessly vertically upwards.

In fact, Jian Shi on China’s development of carrier-based aircraft several years ago had been an open secret.

Statistics show that China’s military aircraft have been delivered in many parts, such as the Harbin Bearing Group, developed ship bearing, developed by Harbin Boiler Factory boiler accessories, Anshan Steel and Baoshan Iron & Steel developed special ship plate, etc., but the core of an aircraft carrier – ship body of research situations is not clear, however, carrier-based aircraft are being developed, and the supporting ships, submarines have been started.

Specifications for the aircraft carrier, the outside world is estimated that there are two kinds of programs are ranked 48,000 tons standard, full row of 60 thousand tons, catapult take-off of about 50 carrier aircraft, the only difference is that nuclear-powered or conventionally powered.

According to the Chinese aircraft carrier the most likely displacement, China should adopt self-developed F -10 as a carrier-based aircraft carrier-based. Information that China’s indigenously developed light combat aircraft F -10 fighter for the use of the former edge of the triangular canard wing layouts. The rise and fall of structure in the design of the aircraft beginning to consider the future apply to the use of carrier aircraft, so landing the aircraft structural design of a very complex carrier-based aircraft used. In addition, the F-span of only -10 Su -33 70%. No folding wing can carry into the aircraft carrier.

Earlier this year in the total ship at a press conference, spokesman Tao Huang had said: “China has the ability to manufacture an aircraft carrier, but when a specific manufacturer has not yet determined.” In a short time later, China’s National People’s Congress People’s Liberation Army a delegation will be revealed, as far as he knows the current aircraft development has progressed smoothly, if fast, then there may be completed by 2010. His remark brought out the quartet. In response, China’s cross-ministry spokesman Qin Gang did not deny that he only said that China has a vast territorial seas, to defend the country’s maritime security and maintaining territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests is the sacred duty of the Chinese armed forces. China will combine all factors relevant to seriously study and consider the relevant issues.

The Chinese military, “Liberation Army Daily” has recently reported on an aircraft carrier up more gradually, has recently published an article also pointed out China-made aircraft carrier of the seven problems, these key technologies include: steam catapult to block cable and large lifts.

there are a lot of viable sollutions out there.
Belgium has recently announced to further reduce its F-16 fleet to 56 aircraft, so the withdrawn aircraft can be available on the market. other aircraft that are available are:

-ex-RAF Tornado F-3 (propably to expensive to buy and maintain)
-ex-Israeli F-16A (IDF was offering them for free, if RoAF has the money to upgrade them to MLU, they could last up to 2025)
-ex-USN F/A-18A/B/C/D (lots in stock at AMARG)
    -ex-swedish JAS-39A/B

when it comes to new aircraft, on terms of cost, the JAS-39C/D, the F/A-18E/F, the F-16 Bl52+ and the MIG-33 are viable options, but it will all depend on how much Romania wants to invest and how many aircraft they need. they could also go for a mixed fleet (ex-Belgian F-16A/B and new build F-16C/D)

i dont think they will cancel the A400M program now, to much has been invested in the aircraft, and the first production aircraft are already on the production line (i think).

anyways, according to various sources the A400M is expected to make its first flight this friday :D.
so i guess after that we will see what happens.

why not switch from CATOBAR to VSTOL, HMS Invincible is in storage from what i heared, so why not sell it to brasil at a cheap price. but this seems very unlikely

the americans have offered the USS Kitty Hawk to India for free if they bought a number of super hornets, so why not give brasil the same offer?

“the varyag is obsolete, and will be used as an amusement park”
what a joke, if its an amusement park, then explain the radar setup that is being installed. if it was to be an amusement park, it would have been build as such years ago 😀

    ok, here’s a crazy thought 😎

    Belgium
    Type of carrier: VSTOL
    Weight: 35.000 tons
    Length: 260 meters
    Width: 50 meters
    Power supply: Gas Turbine propulsion
    Number of Aircraft: 20
    Type of Aircraft: AV-8B+ (ex-usmc, 8 aircraft), NH90-NFH (SAR/ASW, 4), A-109BA (multirole, 8 aircraft)
Defencive weapons: AS39 Exocet, NATO Sea Sparrow, Goalkeeper CIWS.

all pretty much standard equipemnt already in service/expected, except for the AV-8B+, as a stopgap until the 8 F-35B’s arrive 😀
