Sad news indeed, R.I.P. to a true gentleman.

I must agree with KurtB, having had the pleasure of pushing/pulling and marshalling various aircraft into position before, during and after several Legends shows, it only appears easy because of the months of organisation by all the TFC staff, and as Beaufighter V1 has said. it has been done before but the ultimate problem as I see it is lack of space along the hard standing, no point having a lot more aircraft on display if they cannot be seen on the Flight line walk

I have came across a rumour in 2016 that a farmer here in Tasmania has a Spitfire hidden behind bales of straw in a barn, it seems that he flew it onto the farm at the end of the war and it has been there ever since! I have been trying to follow it up and have met several people who have confirmed that the aircraft does exist and one person who actually claims to have seen it!
Then again one person also said that there was a ‘Lanc’ also hidden up in the midlands here, but as far as I am aware only one Lanc came to Australia during the war, that’s not counting the 2 in museums here, and that it was scrapped.
Still going to keep looking for the Spitfire though, well it does mean I get to meet interesting people.
