The most incriminating point is that an out-of-court settlement with the relatives of the passengers was reached.
I don’t think the investigation would have withstood the scrutiny of a Court.
Rubbish.
The logic of it all is still utterly beyond me.
Most airline employees will bad mouth the likes of Ryanair over a beer. And yet, despite much better conditions with BA, they are prepared to unilaterally break the law and threaten their own futures.
I’m afraid if I was CEO, there would be riot police arresting all those staff members and the legal team would be ensuring they spent a decade behind bars, with their houses reposessed if possible. They don’t deserve to wear “British” on their uniforms.
Where’s Scargill 🙁
….as opposed to dirty? 🙂
AF is not a private company though. BA has to stand on its own two feet.
An Air Atlanta 742 was flying LHR-CAI last week on behalf of BA. Their usual 777 was unservicable.
Aren’t some of their 747s ex-BA machines anyway?
BA are now saying the resolution of the strike is crucial to the survival of the airline. With their only bare profitability and the downgrade of their debt to “junk” status I wouldn’t especially think that notion is hyperbole.
Anyone changing their opinion?
Objectively WD is correct.
Although the French do have this habit of inviting ridicule with their linguistic and cultural arrogance, as the first article of that website points out.

lol!
Actually I think the 717 has more latent potential than the 737. It has been proven it can be stretched, and I think the MD-90s were always slightly more efficient than the 737s?
It is a good aircraft. To a large extent it’s failure is down to Boeing being scared of harming the 737 line.
Also, why A and B never entered the RJ marked is beyond me!
Come on, Eastern are tiny compared to the others. How can they be “great”, even if you like them?
No, I’m monogamous now, as nice as 4 of them would be!
Interesting!
I know there are often similarities between Latin (as the building block of the romantic languages) and French. What is the French for Alderney?
The Embraer is 3-abreast and the CRJ is 4-abreast.
I think the main difference between a CRJ100 and CRJ200 is the performance – the 200 is more modern. They both carry a maximum of 50 or so passengers (52 I think).
