Geforce, John Simpson was the guy that was punched on the nose by a British prime minister! (Wilson or Super Mac, not sure which).

Definitely not an arse licker as you imply.

    Read his autobiography!

True, but most airlines (especially the British ones) dislike airports away from London, for various reasons.

The UK. A one city country.

It just reminds me of the band NWA all the time, not sure if I’m allowed to spell out the band name on this board! Could be their band jet for use in videos and things!

I’m sure you all know who I mean, they were quite big in the US.

CFM is half American anyway – it as a GE/SNECMA joint venture so it is natural those engines are subject to US restrictions.

I don’t know of any particular US involvment with RR engines, but I suppose there must be a few parts here and there from US subcontractors.

Sometimes you come across a little dim, are you sure somewhere in that international gene pool that you have, there’s no American influence ??????;) 😉 🙂 😀 😉

Must be the proximity to Liverpool. At least my home isn’t dominated by the French 😀

Speaking of the Swiss, there were a lot of arrests amongst the Swiss last week, when England played Liechtenstein (you have have to fly to Switzerland, and get the train to Vaduz from there).

Apparently a lot of gun law violations. Anyone know any more?

You’re both just jealous you’re not from the Isle of Man.

This might be a dumb question, buy why did the Americans blow up the airliners? Were they under orders to destroy the Iraqi commercial fleet?

Who’s taking bets on what Ryanair will call Finningley?

My bet is “Manchester South” or maybe “Amsterdam West”.
