Thanks tbyguy. This was new to me.
Time to register on WIX.
Don’t wait too long.

Brian, perhaps this is ancient history for you, but have you been in contact with American Albert Stix, Jr. ? He uncovered a large cache of turret bits, including 150SE turret items, a few years ago. A post at the WIX board would most-likely get a response.
As regards the 262s, four were completed (three to airworthy condition) with the fifth (a two-seater) still available.
Don’t mean to stray, but the 262 two-seater is now with the Collings Foundation. Flight training available.
AA, you must absolutely check out this and other videos posted at the EAA website.

This is just one of dozens of instructional videos on sheet metal, wood, fabric, and other skills one uses in aircraft construction and repair.
Have fun!
Found this to be an informative and entertaining read on the Avias operated by the Israeli Air Force. My apologies if already posted previously.
Peter O’Toole roaring up a lake trying to get a Grumman Duck to lift off and shouting “FLY YOU B*****D, FLY!” in “Murphy’s Law”
Same words I shout each commute while accelerating the sedan over a certain rise in the road…windows rolled down first, of course.
…Art Scholl’s Chipmunk and Harold Krier’s Great Lakes were often featured but unfortunately I never got to see displays by these legends of the aerobatic scene.
Well, one out of two ain’t bad.
Nice to see the Yokosuka D4Y. I’m pretty sure that it will only be static, but does it have an original Japanese engine?
Goal is to taxi with an R-1830.
Nice photo link to Chino this weekend:
XP-82 Twin Mustang remains being reconstructed to flyable condition by master restorer Tom Reilly…goal is Oshkosh 2013.
Shigatsu baka!!
What ever the name is commertaive or confederate they own aircraft I’ve never heard off and they are a positive influence on the airshow scene in America.
How many wing do they have out of Intrest?
Give the handy-dandy CAF unit locator a try:

Can anyone confirm that this is an La-9? I took it at DX FL in I think 2005 (the first airshow I ever attended on my own).
That is a Yak-11 reconfigured with a single cockpit and a P&W R-2000 up front.
Gloster E5/34………….
But I thought it DID go into production.
Still my favorite “Pete” clip: 🙂
