Taking advantage of my ‘Free ‘oldies’ bus pass’ I got on a bus to Town , the driver waited for about five minutes , as he was a bit in front timewise , then decides to cut up a passing funeral cortege , inserting himself behind the Hearse , so now the cortege are stuck behind the bus unable to pass , we continue our journey along the busy road stopping at all the stops even the Hearst stopped ahead of us …Hearse-Bus-Cortege and so on at every stop until we hit the main road so then then cortege could pass 😡 what the people on the street thought of all this I’ve no Idea as every time he came to the bus stop no one put their hands out till the bus was passing them , they thinking it was part of the proceedings . the Driver had the cheek to boll*ck the passengers for not putting there hands out in time ….you could’nt write a Benny Hill sketch as barmy as this , it’d be funny if was’nt so disrespectful .:mad:

It can happen over here [UK] with the ‘Eighty year rule’ in England [don’t know about Wales and Scotland and NI ] the council can move your remains for re-using the grave if they so wish , on the premise no one knows or cares after that time , but its been done for years in Church yards , where the gravestones have been flattened to be used as paths , its not the same I know but the graves actual site has been hidden .
Perhaps we need a National site in the UK similar to Arlington in the US where old soldiers remains can remain at rest .
