    Where is everyone getting their opinions on the frontal RCS of various aircraft from (bear in mind last time I asked this the reply was “by looking at it”)?

    Almost as bad as the 43 Sqn RAF F-16s in ID4 (with a Canberra Serial Number).

    Yeah I remember that scene … sickening.

    AND RAF crews flying off them……..not a very good state of affairs.

    What made them decide to do it like that?

    Yeah, there’s something broken somewhere when again and again they want to scrap an aircraft that again and again has proven its worth.

    My father owned 2 BMWs in a row, both of which had cylinder heads blow.

    Now he drives Mercedes.

    accents

    examples: é = accent aigu
    è = accent grave
    ê = accent circonflexe

    ç = cédille

    That’s it 😉

    So some are called accents, some aren’t … there’s no collective term for them all?

    No biggie, I”ll just continue calling them squiggles.

    Is there a collective name for those squiggles sticking out from many of the characters? I asked at work but people said there wasn’t.

    What’s so “advanced” about the Flanker-H’s FCS?

    And both the Rafale and the EF-2000 have “superb aerodynamics”.

    The Mica is NOT equivalent to the AMRAAM … it is more similar to the ASRAAM.

    Could you give a source that shows that the RCS of the Rafale is significantly lower than that of the EF-2000?

    But preferably without anybody getting hurt, I mean people ending up dead in wars whats that all about! Even better they should be able to do it with privately funded toy guns as they are cheaper than real ones. 😡

    Toy guns? No way … they’re making those illegal …

    And I wish I was joking.

    You don’t have to recognise the state of the target’s control surfaces … a simple extrapolation of its trajectory would be better than nothing.

    How do you think things like Phalanx are able to lead their targets?

    Yes, missiles can predict trajectory, to a certain extent. Of course if youre flying straight – they dont know if youll start turning left or right next milisecond. But lets say you start getting in a turn for example, it knows its harder for you to change your trajectory out of that turn in a short moment – and it can position itself to wait for you as you get out turn. Theoretically. In reality of course, proximity fuses and area covering explosions are the means of choice for killing a plane, warhead permitting.

    Thank you.

    So does this deal increase the chances of the UK getting tranche 3 Typhoons sooner?
