I flew to Girona with Ryanair for around £20 return in December 2005 when they had that massive free sale, litrally you could go anywhere in the Ryanair network for any time period almost free. I don’t think they have had a sale like that since.

Windshear was reported at that period yesterday which explains the “interesting” landing, looks like he caught the hump of 24R too which always makes things look worse than they are.
Pilots sure earn there money on days like that.

As usual with the politically correct BBC the program was very biased, nothing much to report than that. Topped off with the hypocritical namby pamby tree huggers, with one in particular who flew said he flew a mere 3 weeks ago!
Lets face it, no one is going to stop using air travel – and whether the tree huggers or the BBC like it they can do nothing about it.

A lot of posts go missing out of threads these days, strange that… 😉

Is this going to be a regular thing, reporting on minor problems at EDI?
I did hear the event on airband radio will not bore you with the story!!
You probably best not do, that is an offence.

It is possible that the flight could be timed for 14:20, but a Naples flight was operated by Thomsonfly last year and went out at 06:00 every Monday as TOM2133 and was operated by a B737-300.
It could be a mistake on Portland Direct’s part. However, it may not be, but if your flight is timed as it’s said in your confirmation expect the flight to be operated by Thomsonfly and expect a 733.
Cheers
Judging from that review I would’t want to spend 12 hours on them to Cape Town. 😉

FCA36 was filed for 10 hours 12 mins today. I wouldn’t take the times on FlightAware too accurately, they often aren’t. As they state – At least part of this flight occurs outside of FlightAware’s service area. Information on this page may be unreliable.

Hey Rick,
From MAN-HUX you’re looking at a track mileage of around 5100 nm, dependant on the oceanic clearance given by ATC. As Sam says westbound Atlantic traffic have been heavily affected by the winds across the Atlantic as of late, thus westbound flights have been making a lot of fuel stops recently, thus why you will be doing the same. Flight have also have been tracking a lot further north recently, towards Greenland.
The oceanic clearance is almost impossible to predict for an individual flight (it depends on the flow and also on the winds), however I have got for you today’s MyTravel routing between MAN-SFB on a 763. I hope that is ok for you.

PMN :p :p
Fantastic, thumbs up for that one.

They probably wanted to get away as quickly as possible considering it was a 7 hour delay. Might have been heavy too, that’s another reason.

Nice shots. I’ve flown on G-LSAD too, nice machine.

London Standsted to NYO, (Sweden Stockholm-Skavsta)
Here you go, this is the route (Ryanair flightplan):
EGSS-ESKN B738/M EOBT/TTL_EET/0150
N0460F370 DCT CLN UL620 ARTOV UP44 SOMVA UP155 ANDIK UR12 JUIST UN873 DETSO DCT
So that is a Clacton SID out of Stansted.
It is in pictorial form at the bottom. If you want the return just ask.
Also MAN to HUX (Huatulco) – with Thomas Cook, they state they stop at Orlando Standford to stop you re-fueling??
I’ll try and get this one.
Flex
Any specific route your looking for? I can try and find out for you.

What you should be doing is penalising the old gas guzzlers
That is from the man who’s airline operated 732s until late 05.
