They probably haven’t released flights for winter yet for that service.

Nice report. I flew on EI-DHZ both ways to/from San Javier in March, nice aircraft.

Anyone ever flown over thunderstorm before, i did last year on way to Rhodes during the night on a Monarch 757.

Thunderstorms viewed at FL350 or whatever are one of the most spectacular things you can witness whilst flying. I’ve flown quite a few over Africa, they really are amazing, but also can be quite turbulent – not very reassuring for the nervous flyer! :p

Absolutely phenomenal shots there Moondance! 😀

I think I witnessed the “Terminator” going to Paphos last year, I knew it looked pretty special when I saw it but I thought it just was a normal sunset.

    Here it is:

Basically there are two options going down to Rhodes and anywhere in Greece/Cyprus from Manchester. There is the cheaper and longer way via the Nederlands via the DESIG departure and the expensive and quicker way 😉 via Dover and Belgium via the HONILEY departure. Both of these end up over Croatia anyway its just that the initial route is much quicker via Belgium.

Anyway this is a comparison between the two:

    Via Nederlands:

Good report again. Wilco about the Ryanair takeoff’s, its because they go for the minmum possible takeoff thrust setting to benefit engine ware. Therefore sluggish takeoff!

In terms of BFS viewing, we have a decent enough Viewing Gallery (some of the glass is dirty) but also have a few external sites depending on which runway is in use.

Aren’t most of the external sites protected by the military though?
