That sounds about right, I know MAN is having 3x 757s in the Summer with LBA having 4 I think (but I could be wrong on that). NCL is planning to at least have 1x 757 for the summer.
Why are easyJet getting on everyones nerves may I ask?
Flex
David’s quite correct your flight is a B757-200.
Flex
Tommy, if you ever do get employed as cabin crew for an airline please post which airline it is. I can then avoid it like the plague.
Flex
… and yet not even a please or thank you.

Nice work.
That Jet2 was inbound from Geneva as LS812, looks like a hydraulic problem as itβs a flapless landing. Must have been fixed though because it was off to Amsterdam a few hours later!
Flex
Very entertaining depiction of EMA Skymonster! I could probably say the same thing about LPL.
Flex
Hmm…. ok. You must be reading something else to me then!
Flex
Was 733s for the Geneve today.
Could be either 733/752, hard to predict with Jet2 these days!
BTW here is the fp if your intrested Elgan!

I flew Air Malta in 2005, wern’t fantastic I have to say. They seem to be a pretty average, run of the mill operation – nothing special.
Here was my report if your interested.

BTW the aircraft featured on the report they don’t have anymore.

I think it depends on which one you go to. Some are better than others, although I don’t think the work in the travel agent is perticularly intresting.
Work experience placements in aviation are extremely hard to come by.
Flex
If you haven’t got any experience of work experience at a travel agent, then you shouldn’t go making such comments.
I had my work experience in a travel agents for two weeks, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn’t make a single cup of tea, instead I did just about everything but, including booking a couples holiday for them!
Just because you “thoroughly enjoyed it” doesn’t mean everyone has had the same experience in a travel agent during work experience.
I personally have had 3 weeks work experience in total in 2 different travel agents. Both times they treated me practically like a slave (and a non paid slave at that). If you see a travel agent placement on the list my advice to anyone is not to take it.
Sam is pretty right on what he is saying.

Enjoyable report Sam. π
We pushed back at 0615am and taxied to runway 27. For some reason we back-tracked which I thought was abit unusual considering there’s a taxiway down to the bottom. Final preparations were completed and we started rolling down runway 27. The takeoff seemed very powerful, possibly a full power departure!
Alpha 1/2 (end taxiways leading to 27) are currently closed due to maintenance, therefore aircraft have to either start the takeoff from a reduced distance via Golf or do a backtrack to the end of 27 from Golf also (which you obviously did).
With regards to the takeoff Ryanair generally use the derate out of LPL to save engine wear, (mostly 22K, lowest avail option).
Hope that helped mate. π

Good report. I saw G-MRJK going back to MAN from Alicante on the 27th. I think MON had a tech aircraft operating the Corfu flight on the Friday night if I can remember so that is probably why your flight was delayed on the return.
Flex
Great report!
I flew to ALC last week too with Jet2 (but from MAN) and got 75s G-LSAD (hybrid livery) and G-LSAE. I was very impressed with Jet2 like you were, they have done a good job with the interior, nice and airy feel to it.
Intresting to read that your inbound flight was bumpy, my outbound was choppy all the way through the day after your flight (23rd), high clouds.
Thanks for the report!
Flex
Nice work.
I’m sure the other virtual airline would love you calling their site crap, James.
Imagine if it was you who designed it.
