    The cloudy landing shots were taken about 09:00 – 09:15 about 3 miles away from the AVP as the crow flies. 😀

    Nice shots (wonder why it was so cloudy where you was standing, it was mostly blue sky and few clouds at the AVP!) 😀

    Fantastic at MAN today, quite hot too (around 22-24 degrees). Managed to top up my tan! :p

    Yeah the MyAir 320 was operating for LTE from/to Tenerife South. Martinair also operated for KLM sending there A320.

    The Syrian B747SP also did a very weird procedure, taxied to 24R with no flaps, selected flaps, retracted flaps and then turned around going back towards the gate. Five minutes later it reappeared again and taxied to 24R with flaps as normal! :confused:

    bmi Washington was cancelled yet again today, A330 also went tech for them (parked up outside MYT Maintenence).

    Sorry for being COMPLETELY off-topic, but about your sig LBARULES.. where do you find out which aircraft you will be going on?

    Manchester Airport has a monthly publication called “Flight Check” for £2.00, lists all the flights going to/from Manchester and the aircraft type for the flight.

    In my opinion you can’t beat British Airways short-haul.

    But long-haul they aren’t really that great I didn’t think so anyway. KLM should be up there!

    The Fokkers are all gone now unfortunately 🙁

    I didn’t know bmi had so many routes from LBA!

    Here at MAN we get the Fokker’s from KLM Cityhopper, Air Berlin, EU Jet, and sometimes HLX, so we always see them on a daily basis. 😀

    Manchester is the best airport in the UK for spotting and one of the best in Europe in my opinion. You often get people from America, Holland, Germany and Spain at the different viewing areas.

    Air Malta are a decent charter operation. Had a nice few flights on them, but no IFE which is a bit of a issue on a 4/5 hour flight.

    I was on board one of Air Malta’s charter flights to/from Paphos from Manchester in March/April.

    In the winter from MAN Air Malta do Paphos, Arrecife, Tenerife South, Rhodes and Malaga alongside Malta.
