Thanks for the help and info.
Do you know what bmi Regional’s policy is for flightdeck visits?
I’ll write a trip report of my flights when I return. ๐

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
Really looking forward to my first flight on an Embraer. What seat would you say is the best to choose, I would like to be seated behind the wing but not have the view obscured by the engine! Hoping to use the self check in @ GLA.
Cheers

Good move by Egypt Air. The B737-800 looks great in MS livery.
Flex 35
What an interesting livery! ๐
Hopefully the management are thinking about having a new image.
Flex 35
Very nice shots indeed. ๐
What equipment you using?
Flex 35
Excellent stuff, really want to visit Toulouse. You need your sunglasses on when you open that Freedomair shot! :p
Great pictures. Anything from inside the factory?
Correct me if I am wrong here but I don’t think you are actually allowed to take pictures from inside the factory on the tour.
Flex 35
Yeah he used a Fisheye lens, which makes the shot have that fishbowl effect.

To quote from Lufthansa:
Luยดs World
With our new cabin service concept Lu’s World Lufthansa’s young passengers have a great time!Lu’s World means delicious meals, games, and fun while flying. In cooperation with the Children’s Book publishing company in Munich, the popular TV chef Johann Lafer and the professional chef Hermann Pflaum, we’ve developed new menus which children around the world have chosen and tested. So depending on the time of day, young gourmets on Lufthansa flights can enjoy various delicacies.
The menus offer for example:
Breakfast:
Filled mouse-shaped rolls
Pancakes with apple purรฉe
Quark-sesame balls with
vanilla and raspberry sauceLunch and supper:
Raw vegetables plate, carrot lasagne
Poultry sausages with carrot gratin
Mixed fried rice
Chocolate mousse or vanilla puddingWe offer children’s menus on most Lufthansa flights. Please order a menu when you book your flight, or at the latest 24 hours before take-off, at the Lufthansa Call Center, Tel. 0180-5 83 84 26.
We also provide for plenty of variety after children have had their meals. We offer them sketchbooks and colored pencils, recipes by Johann Lafer that they can try out at home, new games, Lu Shoulder bags and glove puppets, matchbox cars, puzzles, card games, and souvenirs with Lu themes to collect. It all makes a flight with Lufthansa an unforgettable experience for children.

Curvature of the Earth can be seen, that’ll shut up Mike Bannister ๐
Yeah that’s all he ever used to bang on about, very annoying bloke. :p
Flex 35
Yep I did! ๐ ๐

This logo jet has been around for years. “Lu” is the mascot of Lufthansa’s child program.
Flex 35
Great stuff, its amazing what good equipment and timing can do! ๐
Flex 35
Great shots there. ๐

Excellent report, looking forward to my bmi Embraer 145 flight in a weeks time!
At LHR the ATC really like the aircraft to vacate as early as possible so that is probably why you had really harsh braking.
