    Its to do with the wind direction changing as David said. I have flown many times into AGP and all of them have been over the hills for a 14 approach, the other end is 32.

    I don’t think the 14 approach is perticularly steeper than a normal approach, but it can get rather bumpy at times due to the hills.

    Today there was a Easterly wind, so that is why they would have departed towards the hills (Runway 32).

    Excellent report there Mark, I’m heading off to Paphos in March so your report was very interesting. 🙂

    Nice pic there, would like to see some more! Helios seem like a great airline with fantastic service.

    I flew on KLM Cityhopper in August, from MAN to AMS. Flight was operated by a Fokker 70 (PH-KZF). It didn’t look tired from the inside, and the service was pretty good. I’m sure you’ll have no problems with them! 🙂

    I do agree that the Fokker 100s need a makeover badly! They are really starting to show there age. I really do like flying on the Fokker’s though, great little aircraft! 😉

    I think you will find that G-BNWH is in constant use every day on the MAN-JFK-MAN service. Do they have the time to clean it, I don’t think so!

    I don’t think comparing Ryanair with a full service airline is right really! 🙂
