Wait a few years, it isn’t meant for 14 year olds!
More like people who have already got their licenses and are looking for a position!

no i want to be cabin crreew first so whats there average wage
Well in the Aviation industry you have to be firstly, very lucky and secondly, at the right place at the right time – espiecially with airline jobs.
It’s not a case of “wanting” to be anything in the aviation industry; itβs whether itβs possible at the time. It’s a volatile industry.

ah yes. still getting the ppl is a good start for any pilot who wants to fly commercialy.
Yes, but it still costs money mate!
Like I said, he should wait till he has left High School and take it from there.
Flex
Do well in High School and see where you go from there.
Flex
Get ya ppl as well good start.
Yeah, but isn’t he only like 12 or something?
Flex
Not as simple as saying “I want to be a pilot when I’m older” like itβs a job in Tesco. Unless you have some serious cash in the bank, it’s a very tough task. Especially nowadays with more and more Eastern European guys coming in.
Perhaps a bit too young to start asking these questions. I would wait a few more years, then enquire then.

If a flight is going MAN-TFS departing 18:50 on 29th August when will i expect to see sunset on the route heading south.
Well with Tenerife and all the Canary Islands from Manchester they can go 1 of 3 ways. The common route is via Exeter, Bay of Biscay, Northern Spain, etc. or they can avoid France, Spain and largely Portugal by flying on a “Tango” route, airways T16 etc, which are Oceanic airways. This takes you over Ireland and that way. Airlines (notably Monarch) use this route quite often now, mainly to avoid nav charges. I believe MYT also use this route from time to time. Or they can go via Birmingham, Southampton and join up the airway to the Bay of Biscay.
So it’s quite hard to predict which route you will be taking. I would say if your doing the common route expect to see sunset over the Bay of Biscay, if over the Oceanic route, expect to see sunset when leaving Ireland. And if they are doing the 3rd one, expect sunset over the Bay of Biscay again.
Hope that helped.

Excellent shots.
The new Qatar colour scheme is awful π .
I totally agree, they have taken a previously smart scheme and ruined it.

Excellent report! Not long till I go to Italy. π
I could see the engine cowling retract slightly for reverse thrust but I couldn’t hear it as you normallly can.
Idle reverse.

Time for PC is over, its time to use information to work for everyone’s safety rather than say we can’t do it because it’ll upset a minority.
Exactly.

I’m saying there is a small possibility that one of those passengers maybe a terrorist i.e. suspect everyone.
Absoulute rubbish, your saying that a family with small children and other perfectly normal UK citizens going on holiday could be terrorists? People have to use their common sense, you can spot a dodgy person a mile off.
They all seem to have black beards to me……

Laptop, camera, extra lens, MP3 player, Avcomm Headset and all my flying equipment is running the risk tomorrow.
Yep, especially as I’m going on holiday for 2 weeks, I want to be able to know my MP3 player and camera are going to be working at the other end…. π‘
This kind of banning things has happened time and time again in the last few years, just like Skymonster said, the travelling public will eventually get so p!ssed off that eventually they’ll think twice about flying.
Flex
Hope this calms down a bit with regards to hand luggage, flying next Saturday and don’t perticularly want my electronics smashed up……
