I have got my facts right and believe me people say Ryanair aircraft don’t have window blinds and meal trays. Some Ryanair craft do but only older 737-800s.

Tom flew on one a few weeks ago, I think he knows more than you about what they are like inside.

Read, take the information in and you’ll stop coming out with rubbish. Simple as.

I must say i sooner rather be on a JET2 flight than a Ryanair flight.
I mean Ryanair to me sound terrible, no meal trays, window blinds, seat pockets etc

Well infact THEY do have meal trays, THEY do have window blinds, the only thing is missing is the seat pocket.

Once again, get your facts right.

I think Jet2 are pretty tacky (branding wise). And any airline who names an aircraft “Jo Whiley” is really taking the p!ss.

Yes but surely if they want to expand they must try airports like Aberdeen and Norwich which at current moment have potential but no actual low cost aircraft based.

What about flybe at Norwich, they have quite a base there.

Suggest you get your facts right.

    1 Thomas Cook pre-leather

Since when did Thomas Cook have leather seats across the fleet? They are all cloth except for 3 B757s that have the 187 seat fit, and the Premium class section of the A330s.

    clearedtoland is quite correct.

ATC (especially around the extremely busy airspace of London) sometimes can’t give a climb straight away due to reasons clearedtoland explained. Inbound traffic going into STN, inbound traffic going into LHR – this all affects when further climb can be given.

It doesn’t just happen at London Airports either, at MAN (when the 06s are in use) and aircraft are flying a LISTO departure most crew are told to “maintain 5000 feet on reaching”, and more often then not they don’t get further climb until another 10-15 miles. This is due to the approach stack going right under the SID. This happens at large airfields and busy airspace, I’m only using MAN as I’m familiar with the airport and procedures. This is what happens at STN, and what you experienced yesterday.

Hoped that helped a bit! 😀

Possibly either B733 G-STRA or G-STRJ. I saw G-STRF today depart to Sharm, so obviously that isn’t the one that has a problem. 😉

Not as impressive as it would be on one of their Mad Dogs.

That wouldn’t be because it’s on an Airbus instead of a Boeing, surely….?

When did you fly them? I have inflight magazines from S04 and W04/05.

Summer 2003. There was just a duty free/entertainment guide in the seat pocket, no articles etc. like the other charters.

    Has it changed?

That’s good to hear. Do they still have an in-flight mag? Last time I flew on them they had scrapped it and just had a duty free guide.
