A bit early I know, but any date for cockpit fest this year?
TwinOtter23 do you think there might be a chance of a smal military vehicle show this year?
thinking of coming down sunday, would there be much flying?
was there today, cant believe how much work you and your team have put in, real credit to you all.
Very nice!!! can imagine health and safety bods havig massive heart attacks if that was over here being run next to a road with no fence!!!
went to few myself, Family holiday in Eastbourne! Highlights….:- Flying Sunderland! (wow!!!!) Gary Newman and the havard display team, vulcan touch and go (what a noise, and car alarms going off) a red provost (G-PROV?) appearing out of the murk………could go on, A much missed show! Forgot to add, my 1st (and only!) ride in a Dak!
This was my first aeroboot! I thouroughly enjoyed it, whilstt not into a/c parts, I was impressed with all the instruments etc on sale.
I did spend possibly far too much, mainly on books, but I will be back again providing I am not at work.
All the best
Mark
brilliant pictures
did I see correctly? Derwents? Working?
Stunning!!!! ( lottery win soon!! I hope!)
How much would a small GA cockpit cost to preserve? Am thinking it may be a way for budding cockpiteers to cut their teeth on then maybe move onto the more “desirable” types?
I was at Bournemouth Aviation Museum last sunday, they have a couple of small G.A. types on display.
