    Re the running times, PAL and NTSC systems have slightly different frame rates with PAL slightly faster ,and both faster than cinema this accounts for the difference in times shown.

    315 polish Sqn were based there with their Spitfire Vs in 1942 with a detachment in Valley.

    I think the best bit in 663 is when the Mossie(special effects by Airfix) hits the mountain and bounces back then explodes.

    Oops mean 633 I must be hanging around the VGS too much 😀

    Cant remember but they may have been on strings all I remember is the film was rubbish.

    The main problem was tht they were using REAL Buchons as Spitfires and Spitfires as Messershmits :confused:

    I remember seeing this as a kid though it was called Battle Squadron it was in a double bill with one called Seven for Hell a Dirty Dozen rip off,I remember being so angry and confused about the mixed up aircraft.I remember it so well because I walked out of the cinema and into a riot!

    In the photo close to the centre is a stack of boxes that look a lot like coffins ,also the group of people look like they are wearing uniform ,it could be a hospital or hotel used as a hospital or prison.
