I don’t have the talent of you guys, but I think a picture that stirs the heart is greater than any other input to a picture. As so, I give this offering which left 2 adults and 2 children crying in hapiness.

    Molineux 2003, promotion celebration.

probably 10% of my TV viewing is spent on the BBC. how come I don’t have to pay just 10% of the license fee?
I only watch Countryfile, Top Gear, (which is funded privately and sold to the BBC) and Midlands Today. Hardly worth the unique way in which the BBC is funded.

I really am a Grumpy Old Git today…. sorry.

They do have their place. I never saw the Brabazon, but a full sized replica would be excellent (although the cost would most likely be prohibitive)
In a disposable society history is an inconvenience.

Sad that it takes a disaster for safety to be addressed, but I suppose that is the way we learn. I too can’t believe its 20 years. Its one of those images etched into the memory, which is why it seems so fresh to us.

Nice chap. Gave my t’other half lots of tips and encouragement (she does AmDram and AmOp) when she met him at the Grand Theatre in Wolves on a Panto evening. I never met or spoke to him but Mrs Ivan says he was a real unpretencious gentleman unlike some of the other “celebrities” she encountered on the same night.

    Encore John.
