There have been a few threads in a similar vain on here recently. That gives an indication as to this country. As for the theft from a grave, these pieces of **** have no respect for people who are living, let alone the deceased. There is a special area in a cemetery in Wolves that has seating where the families of the 3 girls who died can sit and contemplate. When visiting my Uncles grave I have seen family members picking up beer cans, bottles and even condoms. The groundsmen say they fight a losing battle and of course there is no council funds to employ a night watchman or even just an occasional patrol. 😡

These scum are diluting the Gene Pool at an alarming rate. I feel half the country should be forcibly sterilised to save mankind all turning into George Bush and Vicki Pollard.

I didn’t realise Nazareth were still going.

Ivan – where is John Martyn on your list?? 😀

One of the passionate musicians in the world today. Not totally my cup of tea, but I know a class act and happily listen to him. Nice to chill out to. Needs a bit of practice with his guitar technique tho! 😉

Ivan, how big is the chip on your shoulder:D , is it a Pentland Firth or a Maris Piper:D 😀 .
Stay where you are, it must be better than living up here.

    Its a King Edward!!!

I can honestly say that probably the best holiday I had was a two week stay in Scotland during that hot summer a few years ago. Family wedding in Fort Augustus/Invergarry and then stopping in a friends rental property attached to their own home in Girvan. Flew to Glasgow, picked up a hire car and drove to Augustus for the wedding and then down to Tony’s house in Girvan. Great weather, beautiful scenery, the tranquility of Glen Trool, freaking the kids out at Electric Brae etc. I’d rather be back there than down here in the grubby midlands.

Manny Charlton still very much alive and still recording ( new album Americana Deluxe was released 16th Feb ) though he left the band in 1990.
However, Darrell Sweet, the original drummer , died of a heart attack back in 1999

Good band site here : http://www.nazarethdirect.co.uk

As for the fee, well I can only imagine it’s a bit like buying a car :- the older the car and the more miles on the clock, the cheaper it will be though to be quite honest, you probably won’t find too many low mileage “Ferrari’s” around Aberdeen harbour !!! 😀 😀

Thanks for that info and link. Obviously confusion as to which one popped their clogs from my unreliable sources.

So for a small fee I could turn my “Scottish Bent” into a Scottish Bint!!

    Coat already retrieved. 😉

As an aside: Camlobe says he never got a knighthood. Well several people tried to influence the present government. Their comment was that ‘It all happened so long ago and was not relevant’ That sums up the attitude of today quite clearly.

The greatest honour he received was the admiration of everyone involved in aviation, from the humble spotter to the highest echelons of professional pilots. An honour no politician will ever receive.

    Thankyou Alex. God Bless. 🙁

Even a more modern bike and flares don’t mix. On a 1970s BMW flat twin it was possible to get a trouser leg hooked over the carburetter top preventing a foot from touching the ground, resulting in the bike toppling over.
    Don’t ask me how I know this….:D

C’mon! You still have not told us you’re story!!! Was it in public?

Lets not forget the Messerschmitt & Heinkel micro cars of the 50s.

You have just transported me back 35 yrs!!! I remember my fave book was a Ladybird Book of Cars. Remember the pages full of the cars you mentioned and stuff like Bond 3 wheelers and the ultra cool Renault Dauphin!!!!
