Friday Mahon is flown by GirJet on Fokker 100s I believe
For the NCL folks, today’s Excel Airways flight to Puerto Plata being operated by Air Pullmantur Boeing 747-200 EC-JFR, currently delayed until 1100, due to the massive delay on yesterdays 767 flight to Orlando Sanford
Blue skies in Manchester 😮
Indeed it is. Operating NCL-SFB on Sunday and returning to MAN from SFB (empty?) on the Monday
Indeed the one and only time I flew from EDI (runway 24) sat night departure to Las Palmas with Monarch (A320), we flew out over Glasgow (!!) and then turned south, down over Dublin and down towards the Canaries.
RIPcioncorde, for example at MAN. I flew last year from MAN-TFS on TCX 753, we used 6L for departure then headed North and then west, getting a good view of MAN and a 742 lifting off 😉
I suppose it depends on the SIDs and STARs being used on that day
Well, they are in the same Alliance as Air Franc. Perhaps AF have taught them to do that 😀
RIPConcorde, perhaps it went north to avoid GLA departures if they were using runway 5 there. Therefore it may have headed north then east, then went down the East Coast to Paris.
NCL-SVG-Bergen also using Bac 1-11s/Bae 146s
Very nice pics.
Most common a/c type at EDI is the 737-300 followed by the ERJ145 if anyone’s interested 😉
The Glasgow-GLA express bus service, operated by Arriva is in the colours of SPT (Strathclyde Public Transport) Maroon and cream
So just like the trains? Ewwww…. 😉
Stagecoach bus? A lot of buses from Manchester were drafted into Carlisle after the floods wiped out the vast majority of buses in Carlisle. A lot of these buses advertise Jet2 from MAN. Perhaps one of these buses found it’s way to Glasgow somehow
Any pics of the XLA 762 that passed through MAN en-route NCL-POP?
Seems to be spending the night at SFB, then flying to Orly. Not sure whats flying the i/b back from SFB and what is doing the Friday POP flight.
It was in TCY livery last year as already said, then went to Malaysian for the Hajj in an all white livery which basic MH c/s. Now in Air Atlanta Europe c/s 🙂
