The other TU154 was probably Pulkovo
I see there is an Atlantic Airways Bae 146 due in from the Faroe Islands tonight
IIRC, no aircraft were diverted to Newcastle.
You never know mate we had a kuwaiti a310 in not long ago.
The Kuwait Airways A300/A310/B747/B777 (all been before), come in 2/3 times a year for bank notes which are printed in the Newcastle area.
NCLRULES hit it right on the head
Helios used a Dubrovnik MD83 on NCL-LCA-NCL 😉 Also they’ve used an Air Slovakia 757 recently 😉
BMI have 2 x weekly A320 FLIGHTS THROUGH ncl. Venice Kefallonia
Both for different tour ops
Air Transat does YYZ-NCL-YYZ (came inbound via GLA first 2 flights of season), ops from NCL with a full load just about for every flight.
As PaulC has said, the WhaleJet has only got reversers on #2 and #3 engines
Summer: 1 x 737-300 2 x 757-200
Winter: 1 x 737-800 1 x 757-200
I was of the understanding that these flights would be operated by XLA 767-300ERs.
I see the Nordic MD87 has been operating for Jet2. I thought that it was going to be LBA based?
Aye, will be positioning in from BRS where it’s currently at. BRS gets a 738 to replace it
A Daily B767-200 would do fine. Remember, you only need to fill the front to make a transatlantic flight profitable 😉 Therefore, I feel ABZ could fill 24 seats a day to Houston, perhaps make it via MAN if need be 😉
I see there is a White Eagle Aviation ATR42 doing some of the ex Emerald mail flights from Newcastle
