First is a view of the huge Lufthansa Techniks hangar, next see our aircraft’s reflection in the terminal glass as we taxi past. We pulled on stand up next to a CX747, and finally is a tangle of tails and winglets :p
A few shots arriving into a dark and gloomy Frankfurt. In the last shot, note the parked Galaxy’s and KC-10’s.
Slowing down during descent. These spoilers truly are huge!
When we took off at Singapore, we followed another QF747, bound for Paris. This was on practically the same route as Frankfurt, and we followed it side by side for a good 4 or 5 hours.
The wing up against nice blue skies.
Here we have the Singapore tower, sign and JAL new livery 767 in one pic. Then the QF767 flight deck after flight.
Landing at SIN. First is on approach, next is on short finals, and finally coming to a halt with spoilers up.
Here’s a nice colection of sunset ones. First we see the sun’s reflections on the South China Sea, next is the sun itself and the final pic if one of my favs, just setting own behind the clouds.
Forgot to add that the last pic was just airborne from KK. Here is the rather empty cabin of the 767, only around 40 people on board. In the second picture, it isn’t actually glare on the bottom half of the wing. It is part of the contrail forming over the wing, in the very humid air.
Malaysia Airlines tail line up at KK during push back. Next is a view of the terminal from the runway.
Thanks for the very kind comments everyone, greatly appreciate it! Now for some on the homeward leg…….our plane before leaving KK
More great pictures both of you, particularly like the ANA Andy and the Qatar Michael. Steve, not sure if you’ve seen my other thread, but flew on these beauties a few days ago.
Great pictures Andy, really like the Icelandair scheme, think the blue and yellow go well together.
Oops….didn’t attatch the shot.
Gotta quick look in the cockpit after. I’m gonna leave it here for a bit, need some rest! Will try and get the homeward journey shots in a bit later 🙂
