I’m sure that after this you will be booking your next flight as soon as you need to go somewhere. I’ve only flown with them once, and was very impressed. Especially with the brand new -800:D The old -300’s aren’t much to go on, but there you go, they did have a hard life in the US flying for Continetal I think. Make sure you ask to go in the cockpit!
Ah so it looks like the Tenerfie airports are much further inland than Lanzarote. Lanzarote is very easy for spotting as it is really accessible from the beach itself. Moondance, I still haven’t found the answer yet, which airline do you fly for?! Thanks:D

I was just speaking to my dad who is a tug driver, and he said that it could be a loss of hydraulic pressure in the main strut that is used when taking up or putting down the undercarriage.
Yes I think it looks very nice. As T5 said, not as good as the new Monarch one, but certainly an improvement.
Yes I did see that article, but I don’t think it said all that much about spotting and photography. I may be wrong, I’ve read too many other things since then:D I’m sure you’ll have an excellent time anyway, and get loads of nice photos for us to gawp at!
Yep you should be pleased! I can’t wait until eventually I can afford a camera of that quality, but it’s gonna be a long time yet….I’m not even close. I’ll just have to stick with the rubbish I’ve got for the moment.:D
All excellent models guys. I really like the Aeroflot 767, and the Easyjet A319. I’ll try and get one or two pics of some of mine later. I don’t have any geminijet’s at the moment, but I have a couple of starjets 1:200, and a few dragon wings. Also about 60 snap fits!:D
Excellent photos there. What camera do you use?
Yes great photos as usual Franck! I particularly like the FedEx MD-11, very nice:D

Yes I can remember seeing them one of two time before at Heathrow, operating their Tristar.
When do you go Ren? I’m not sure if or where you can spot at Tenerife. You shoulda tried Majorca or somewhere else like that, because I think you can get good spotting views there on the beaches, and it is quite busy.
Here’s the lil’ baby!
I’m a member of the Air Training Corps (ATC) and we get to fly the Grob G.115 Tutor. It looks quite tame at first, but not when it’s put in the hands of an ex. Harrier or Tornado Pilot! When I first flew in it, the pilot asked what I would like to do, and I simply asked for aerobatcis, hoping for maybe a loop or two. He took us upto 5000ft, and didn’t stop thereafter for about 15 minutes! It was the best flight I’d ever had, absolutely brilliant. We would just be pulling out of a loop, then straight back up again for a stall turn, then down for a barrel-roll. On the way back, I’d noticed on the g-meter that we had reached +4/-1.5. And that was with a cadet! If you really put that aircraft to the test, Im sure it would be very capable of anything higher. However, as they are supplied to the RAF for air training purposes, I’m not sure if you can buy them for the GA market. Have a look and find out if I were you.
