OMG, 5000 posts! What an achievement! Well done mate and btw, the picture is very nice, i like all the lights in the back.
This explains it. A quote from my ‘No Frills’ book, ‘He spent plenty of time shuttling between his two offices in Athens and London. Sometimes he flew on Virgin Atlantic; at the time a franchise operation by a Greek company called South East European Airlines flew the route in the colours of Branson’s airline’
Its quite a good book, I recommend you take advantage of the ad in the last magazine which lets you have it for £6.99 or something.
Oh right thanks for pointing that out Interflug. I have checked the normal Heathrow movements page for any sight of a Biman Dc-10 I saw, to find out the reg but I cant find it. Does anyone know of any other ‘movements’ websites?
Thanks for that reg Dave:D I wish some airlines (like Air France and Egypt Air) would put the registrations a bit lower down, they are almost impossible to see if you are looking up at them if they are on approach.
Thanks for the comments people! Much appreciated 😀
And finally……..an SAS MD, OY-KHR Hope you liked ’em 😀
Lufthansa A310, D-AIAI
I thin this one’s in competition with the Syrian SP for being my pic of the day. I still cant get over the sheer length of these things, VA A340 G-VMEG
This shot wasn’t so well timed, but I thought I might as well show it. Royal Jordanian A310 JY-AGK

An Air France A320, registration unknown again due to the same reason as for the above pic
