Does anyone know which aircraft they will be using? Although I have never flown on one, I don’t think much can beat the Aurigny Trislanders can it? From what I have seen on my world air routes DVD and what people have said to me after travelling on a Trislander, I can’t wait to go on one myself.

Wys, do you find that go-arounds make a change and are exciting, or do they annoy you having to go through all the approach procedures and everything else again?

Yeah I should have got his number, but in all the rushing around and the huge crowds of people that had been arriving off of the planes I sort of didn’t think about it. Ohh, by looking on airliners.net it only seems as if the Bmi ERJ’s only fly out of Manchester and other smaller airports like Leeds/Bradford and Edinburgh. That’s a shame, I was hoping to see some at Heathrow, especially the one in Star Alliance cs, that looks brilliant.

In a PA I find the height and the altitude interesting to know, but I think the most interesting things have gotta be where we are flying over, and how far in distance we have covered/ got left to travel. I always find it amazing to find out how far we have travelled when it only feels like a few minutes.

A question for you wys (or any other pilots out there), how do explain to passengers what has happened after a go-around? If I was in a plane and all of as sudden we began to pull up and the engines were put on full throttle, I would realise that it is a go-around, but I can’t imagine many other passengers understanding what a ‘go-around’ is.

Does anyone know when I can see Bmi 737’s and A330’s at Heathrow. I have literally seen the whole fleet of A320’s, A321’s and Fokker 100’s but not a single 737 or A330 (or aren’t the A330’s delivered yet?). Also, as of yet I have not seen a Bmi ERJ, or don’t they use Heathrow. Another airline I have been hoping to see is Air Mauritius, does anyone know what time they fly in? Thanks

Yes I think that there’s about 205. I think I was quite lucky as I have seen the Pokemon 747 the past 2 times I have been up to Heathrow. I also liked the two JAL 747’s in a row.

Yay, atleast now I will have something slightly different to look out for now at Stansted. The planes land about 1500ft directly above my school when they are on 05, so I should get chance to see it sometime soon. It doas look better aswell I think, now it’s time to add some winglets and make a logojet out of one or two of their 800’s, like they have with a few of the 200’s.

Ok thanks a lot. Just one final little question. It looks as if the threshold of the runway is atleast twice as far away from the spot that you mentioned than myrtle avenue. Does this make much difference to the altitude of the aircraft?

Thanks a lot guys for your fast responses, you don’t know how much I really needed to know.

And so is this place not blocked off from construction to terminal 5? Sorry for being a bit rushed, I will have calmed down hopefully by tomorrow, it is just that we have been planning this for ages and I’m in a bit of a rush so as to not make my cousins trip down here a complete waste of time. Thanks for you patience with me

Have any of your shots with the Fuji 2800 been excepted on anything like airliners.net or jetphotos? Or haven’t you tried?

Ok thanks. I might have to think about getting up there by train sometime soon. You are quite lucky that you have varied scheduled services, not just low cost unlike Stansted : (

I know you have probably been asked before and sorry for asking again, but what camera do you have? I am really tempted to get a digital camera but I need some info. I might start a new thread soon to ask about information on digital cameras. Im sure there are loads of people that know what they’re talikng about (unlike me!!!!!!!!)

I think a F100 would look much better in Buzz cs than Ryanair, but then what doesn’t. I think the Buzz cs were some of the best around (atleast the 146’s are still in their bright cs). Saying that though, the Ryanair livery looked good on their old 1-11’s.

How busy is Birmingham? Is it comparable to Stansted? I think usually we get about a movement every 2 minutes.

Is CS-TEB just a one off or something, because it is the only picture of it I have seen and it does not appear in my registration book? Perhaps it was just a short term lease and that could be why it is not in the full colours.
