Oh, great
I was talking to someone today about how much respect we had for Bmi, giving relatively low fares but still making you feel like you’re on a proper airline. When I flew to MAN with them, we were barely in the air for 30 minutes. Yet they still managed to serve everyone (on an A321!) with a complimentary drink and snack. And so I said that if they weren’t much more expensive than the competitors, I wouldn’t think twice about flying with them again. Maybe I’ll think again…
Great collection there Grey Area, good to see some MAN approach ones in there too. Fingers crossed the Air Berlin dreamliner may be around STN later.
Eh?????
Mark’s a lil jealous, is what he meant to say 😉 :p
Managed to overlook these two! Sorry again….not another FR or EZY  I wouldn’t upload them if it wasn’t for the new found angles. The traffic is looking much better for this afternoon, shall be heading up when the cloud clears.

Thanks very much everyone, I’m so happy I invested in it already! Just gotta couple of edits from yesterday to keep you happy. I was having trouble with the Germanwings. It was about sunset, and what was left of the sun was behind a cloud. Has been almost impossible to brighten it up enough without ruining it.
I should have some more photos today, not sure if it’ll be STN again or possibly LHR.

And anyone have an idea what the two ‘prongs’ sticking out from the front of this MD-11 nose gear do?

Then the last 3. The first one I was very happy to catch, TF-JXB ex-JetX MD-82 arriving. No-one seemed to have an idea it was going to Iceland Express, and as far as I know I’m the first to have caught it.
Then we have one of my fav shots of the night, EI-DAP climbing out in great light.
Finally, I was just impressed out how close and detailed I could get.

Cheers, everyone, here’s the rest. Unfortunately I’ve had to re-size and compress them, but you get the idea. Sorry about the lack of interesting traffic – I hope my new found ‘DSLR only’ spots make up for it.

Hmm well I couldn’t have bought my DSLR at a better time. All I can think about at the moment is the weather clearing up to go out and get some shots! Revision seems to have gone out the window….oops.
4 exams next week: Spanish Reading, RE Judaism, English Literature, and RE Christian Perspectives. Gonna be bad!

sorry to go off topic but can you post to a link about the Z10 and give us a rough guide price for the Z10 please?Regards,
kev35
Here is by far the most detailed Z10 reivew I can find. http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/Z10/Z10A.HTM
And here are links to buy the Z10. These 2 are both trusted sites that I have used before. Depending on whether you want to pay more/less for postage, or have extra things thrown in, they both offer a good deal.

However, I recommend that when you buy memory, you use Ebuyer. The prices on there are quite amazing, most of them at less than half the high street price.
It’s hard to define ‘fastest growing’.
Do you mean annual % pax increase, movement increase, size increase, capacity increase…etc etc.
Wannabe pilot.
What was the shutter lag like on the Z10?
Don’t want a DSLR as they are too complicated and with my disability too damn heavy but the pics you took with the Z10 were astounding. That would do for me
Regarsd,

Sorry Kev, I hadn’t seen your reply til Allen just pullled this up. The shutter lag on the Z10 is very minimal, infact the best in it’s class. The autofocus is also the fastest in it’s class, which makes it very easy to pick up, and ‘point and shoot’, whilst relying on it to focus on the subject pretty well at the same time.
However, as Allen said the 350D is the lightest and smallest DSLR to have been made. So if possible, get a look in at your local camera shop and ask if you can have a feel of it.
Hehe excellent, just in time to catch it with my new equipment at STN!
Very nice, might even be able to brighten up the British skies.
Very nice shots, cant wait to see the results your DSLR produces Dan 🙂
Hoping to have it on the doorstep tomorrow, if not by Friday. Don’t expect anything amazing too soon though, it takes quite a lot of getting used to 🙂
Interesting that they’re going to Bratislava, SkyEurope seem to be doing very well with that route.
And still we see more destinations appearing from STN! Go on the Ryanair website route map, and click on Stansted. The number of routes is quite incredible.
