    You did state that the Chinese do not want to export the J-10 to Pakistan? Why not? You need to think of the future, in the future LCA and J-10 will be low end fighters with the F-35 and PAK-FA being purchased by many Airforces.

    Where does the FC-1 stand? It would be a far better choice to focus on the J-10 and develop it.

    2:BARS is a very good radar in terms of range. However it has been said that it does not posses all modes that western radars have.     firstly, the chinese might be unwilling to allow their newest domestice radar go to pakistan for the same reason they dont want their newest domestic fighter going there – security. sure, if the CIA or indian intelegence agencies get sats on the 1473D, they wont learn everything, but based on that info, they can make a pretty good prediction of how good the 1473 is.

    secondly, the PAF seemed to always prefer western equipment, so they might not want the 1473D. they might accpect the full spec 1473, but its unlikely that china will offer it.

    I don’t get it, what’s so special about the J-10? The frontline fighter of PLAAF is the Su-27 and Su-30MKK so why not export the J-10? Why the FC-1? Now iif it is modern then I guess the Bison is modern too. 🙂

    I don’t even want to start a flame but a realiy check it a must. The Grifo S-7 cannot be compared to the RC-400 which Pakistan is NOT getting. The Grifo S-7 do not have multi-target tracing and attacking capability. So PAF choosing between the Grifo S-7 and RC-400 is really a joke.
