The Merchantman was actually a passenger carrying Vanguard for the Scotland vs France 5 nations in Feb 1980. I think there was 2 of them.
I have a pic somewhere of a BMA DC-9 but no Viscount. Will post some more asap.

BIA Herald – several times remember IOM being fog bound and were diverted to Blackpool for the night – put up in hotels. Great views from Herald as it had same size windows as VCV but no wings to look over!

Working on Base 737-400 and hopefully all DC-9’s srs (should have all big 4 short/medium range airliners of last 40 years) 😮
Will then hopefully get them painted!!! 😡
