There is the military story of your Broussard there :

Air to air photo mission… ?
Dear Moggy, can you cite source ? [oops… dismiss my request –*Google is my friend… thought it was an excerpt from a book]
Considering the altitude at which P-51 and P-38 flew over Berlin, there is just not a chance that he could distinguish between the two. Actually, his original quote does not mention any specific type of fighter… he just said “fighters”… just do a little research on Google, and you will find that by yourself.
No problem with having those Mossie registered in France… 😉
I believe it was never military as a MS 317 from what I gathered on the french aviation register. May be when it was a MS 315… It was with AERO CLUB DE LA STE NATIONALE DE CONSTRUCTIONS AERONAUTIQUES (Aero-club of the SNCASE) in 1952. As you can see, it was fitted with a hoof to tow gliders (which was why the MS 315 wrere re-engined) in the early 50s.
Would you agree?
Rob
No. Not at all. Flying legends not being in the list says it all… and whoever wrote this has never been in the south half of the planet it seem… there is at least one airshow in New Zealand that should be in that list – IMHO.
Bager1968, any reading you recommend on that first Beaufighter radar intercept ?
Was supposed to overnight in Paris-LBG but pressed on to Salzburg. Putting hours on fresly overhauled engines and props.
Nice…
BTW, how many Ansons are flying nowadays ?
I know of T21 WD413/G-VROE with Air Atlantic Historic Flight and C.19 G-AHKX with BAE Systems/The Shuttleworth Collection.
So that makes 3.
Any more elsewhere ?
There is a Kaguj flying in France too, and it has been for quite some time.
Did you really drop that bomb ?
Is this not working the reverse way… ? Before making any assumption, I would rather wait for our Polish friend to return to the wreck and take note or picture of the serial number of the plane. That is the only real evidence to rely on.
ATI (Avions Taxis d’Indochine) had mostly Beech 18.
Sure, no 19 !
