Sorry to bump this back up, but I have arranged for a few days of (13 to 19 june) and am sorting out my travel arrangements.

I am wondering whether T5 and A330_Crazy realise that this hotel is at the wrong side of Paris? It is near Orly (South Paris) whereas Le Bourget and CDG are in the north of Paris. You’d have to take many trains or a journey over “La Peripherie” to get to the airports.

For what its worth, I will NOT be staying in this hotel no matter what. I am staying up north. Somewhere, not decided where.

I believe it’s only 10 miles away?

I watched one the Globespan 737’s perform a Go-Around yesterday. I never heard the full coversation between crew and ATC, but it went something like – you never cleared us to land, or even pass us to tower. To which Approach said oh sorry breakdown in comms. For a few minumtes later there was some banter back and forth.

Un*******believable! My other half told the boss, and she did exactly **** ALL! 😡

When I speak to Rowena tonight, I’ll be telling her to go higher up, and if there’s nobody else in there she can speak to, then it’s going to the 5-0! 😡

Does your G/F work in a call centre? If so it doesn’t surprise me the boss is doing nothing. The ones I have come into contact with seem thick, have no people skills and also no knowledge of the job they are in.

The freighters might make money but their routes are not saturated by other players. I think the couriers tend to use specific companies, where foot pax will fly with anyone, and airlines knowing this always try to muscle in on the scene…
