    Jim,

Area Z is just near the orange VOR/DME (Airport perimeter road – heading towards Inchinnan Industrial Estate). If you are coming in from Rwy 05 the first exit to your left is Zulu 2, after you pass this hold you are on taxiway Zulu which runs to Zulu 1 which is just before the entrance to Rwy 10.

I’m not too sure what it’s used for (apart from a taxiway) but I think the fire training is carried out near or in Area Zulu and also sometimes aircraft are parked there.

If you do know the road from St James’ interchange which takes you to Inchinnan, you will know that you run parallel to the main runway. After you take the left sweeping bend you are then parallel to Area Z.

    Rgds

I think Pay Pal seems like a good idea. The problem I have is the seller receives payment from PayPal, so they never see your card details, which is good but what if they never send the item to the buyer…..how can you prove you never received it?????

Ren frew, Yeah I’m from Paisley, well Linwood actually. I bought the tickets off of ebay, £80 for two. I think it should be great in the town hall!!! Never seen him before.

Flood, I wasn’t that interested in him when he was in his Smiths days nut his solo stuff is good……Each to their own 😉

These sort of antics get me annoyed, fair enough he may have brought to light a security lapse, as he did give fake refrences but how can you identify a fake bomb? Even going through a detector would not identify it.

I would get this guy up on a charge (if possible) and them let them write about the outcome in the paper…..Fools

Why don’t they target trains, boats and buses for their sensationalist stories.

Ren Frew, Yeah, it’s all a learning curve!

It was never my intention to try and hide my convictions, I was just worried that it may stop me becoming a commercial pilot 🙁

On another note why is it I can’t find pictures of any of the tomahawks that are based at GLA??? Considering they have been there for so long!!!!

Could anybody change this??? Maybe catch one on approach or takeoff.

    Cheers 🙂

Yes andrewm I was a teenager It has now been over 6 years and by the time I get my ATPL I imagine it could be nearer 11 years.

Thanks for the replies, it seems that it may not have that much of a negative effect (fingers crossed) on being employed as a commercial pilot.

Lets hope they see that it was a while ago and that I’m determined to make a career out of flying!!!

    Cheers 🙂
