    A chippe made a forced landing on a beach at Prestwick. Just after take off they lost power and made a safe landing.

    The engineers drove down to the beach fitted a new carb and the thing departed from the beach…..hope they brought their bucket and spades along.

    I would have taken him on, but protected him more. Obviously you would not be doing any stupid speeds so I say let the little guy brag about it at school 😉

    My mate came off of his R6 yesterday, no damage to him but the bike needs new plastics. I’m siting my test on the 10th, so hopefully my Zx6r will be keeping just it’s tyres on the ground…

    Can’t remember my first airline flight, but my first toy plane flight was when I was 13 in G-AVUS. A cherokee 140 from Glasgow.

    Very tired, my mates on leave from the army and it was a drinking session until 5am this morning – but hey I finish work at 8 and after an hours drive home, it’s a shower and then out on the pull……

    I’ve not flown in the DC-10, but I’ve flown in a MD-11. I thought the MD-11 was a nice modern aircraft.

    Can’t see it being a problem as they are on idle thrust, but TOGA might be different. If they nail the throttle – ouch.
